Bringing premium lunch box to food franchise market

Suggesting ideal food franchise models
CEO Kim Sung-jin of Four Season Hanjeongsik (Korean Table d'hote) is model case who showed possibilities for small and medium businesses to commercialize Korean foods on the global stage. With differentiated and luxury concepts of Korean dishes, Kim opened two chain restaurants in China and is writing a success story unaffected by the Chinese reaction against anti-Korean products ignited by THAAD. Taking the momentum, Kim established FNP Korea in April last year and opened a cafe-concept chain restaurant in Yongin City. 
Kim calls himself a food entrepreneur who finds staff with professional mind, develops popular four seasonal menus and localizing the business overseas. The condiments and sources are made with natural ingredients by the chefs of Four Season Hanjeongsik and the vegetables and meats are thrown away after two days in order to keep the maximum freshness. 
Some of the popular menus of Four Seaon Hanjeongsik are grilled back rib rice cracker, blue crab fried tofu soup, rice mixed with gang bean paste/salmon/spring vegetables and spicy stir fried octopus rice.

Introducing premium lunch box
Kim points out that 46% of workers in the service sector are relating to food and he emphasizes on the need of government support for R&D in the field in preparation of the coming 4th Industrial Revolution. 
Kim also points out the importance of 'staff-centered management', alongside value and human-centered managements, as one of the core elements needed for social enterprises. For this reason, Four Season Hanjeongsik is second to none when it comes to staff welfare that can compete with major companies. The staff who have worked more than one year, for example, are entitled for receiving shares of the company as a reward. 
Kim's innovation and creativity do not stop here. He is planning to open a new cafe concept restaurant where people, officer workers in particular, can enjoy premium lunch box and coffee in one place in Pangyo. When successful, the restaurant will be launched in five major cities in Korea.
Kim praises highly of social enterprises that put more values on the owner's work ethic and business mind of co-existence: if the owner does not take his monthly wage the company can hire 5 more employees and if it amounts to 1,000 employees a lot more of their families can take benefits. It all depends on the decision of the owner, according to Kim. Kim hopes that the Korean food franchise industry will foster ability to propagate in the global dine-out industry over Korea through creative thinking and initiative mind and he is determined to take the initiative.
