Introducing Cheonan's famous bakerly
Toujours (CEO Yoon Suk-ho)

The breads baked on-site captivates many hearts of residents
Toujours is a French word of 'always'. You can find Toujours in Seongjeong-dong (head store), Buldang-dong (Turtle), Guryong-dong (Dolgama) and Galleria in Cheonan City. All breads of Toujours are baked daily in each store. For this reason, people recognize the brand as the breads of master bakers. What brought Toujours to fame, however, attributes to its unique 'Turtle Bread'. This 14 hour fermented bread became so popular that it actually turned the accolade of the city 'Cheonan walnut cake' to 'Cheonan turtle bread'. CEO Yoon Suk-ho of Toujours strictly uses wheat, rice, fruit and egg produced in Cheonan for the breads. He signed a contract with farm houses in the city for organic strawberries and red beans. As a result, the 4 Tourjours stores are creating a more than 13 billion won yearly sales. Yoon points out detail, effort and sincerity as the three core elements that made Tourjous as successful as today. Although the 4 stores seem to be a little, more than 200 staff are working to make unparalleled breads. The strict rules and recipes imposed on the staff throughout the day from early morning till closing are reason enough for Tourjous to be called as a bakery academy. The 'No ingredients are used again for the next day but the day only' policy also has played a crucial role to secure public trust. The Dolgama (stone kiln) branch in particular attracts attention. The 'stone manju', made of red bean, walnut and chestnut in the stone kiln, is only sold one per customer in a limited number of 1,500 during weekdays and 2,000 on weekend while 'Thirteen Roll', the 100% fresh milk cream cake, and 'Sibaang Walnut Ball' also are sold like hot pies. The turtle branch also offers its unique sticky rice cake and milk ice flakes made of Korean red bean for the delicacy of the seasons throughout.

Release of 'Sincereful Cake'
Toujours would not have been as successful as today without a continuos investment in ingredient, technique and management. The bakers of Toujours boast winning a number of prizes at various competitions such as Seoul International Bakery Contest, California Walnut Contest and Chungnam Tourism Souvenir (special prize). In thanks to the recognition and support of residents, Tourjous donates cakes worth 5.76 million won to underprivileged every year and also 30 million won to underfed children in the city through the First National Wonuimang Foundation. Currently, the bakery plans to expand its social contribution to talent donation to middle and high school students in the region. Also, CEO Yoon introduced organic baking machine for long-serving employees and they released 'Sincereful Cake', made of 100% weeping willow rice cake. It was a result of the win-win project and the triliteral business agreement between the city, rural leadership and Tourjours. "If there is Baumkuchen in Germany, the snack wishing luck and longevity, there is 'Sincereful Cake' in Korea" said Yoon. Yoon's marketing strategy is well known that he tempted people to make a journey to a bakery in a rather remote area than the bakery around the corner and even the industry specialists pay a visit for a tour. To spread the fresh taste to more people, Yoon currently is planning to introduce a systematic delivery system that can cover the whole nation. <Power Korea> sends a message of support.
