Twowing Chicken CEO Kim Jeong-chul
The angel's wings 'Twowing Chcken' to fly to the world
Pioneering overseas market

Many restaurants, including franchise, are closing their doors day by day. Chicken restaurants, for example, has already been saturated and there is a fierce competition in the field. However, a sweet and sour chicken-specialized company Twowing (http://www.twowingchicken.com) is rather creating a sensation in the market. Twowing means two wings of an angel and CEO Kim put in the name his will of delivering good taste and service to customers like an angel. As the headquarters of Twowing, 'Manna Food' was established in 1990 and Kim currently runs dozens of Twowing branches in Busan and South Gyeongsang Province and is preparing to pioneer overseas market.

Differentiated tastes bring a success
Customized startup consulting enhances mutual growth

It is known that sweet and sour chicken first started by the US army in Korea. It was cheap and the recipe was simple and was popular among many Korean market traders. They coated the chicken with dough and fried and mixed it with various sources. It was sweeter and crispier than seasoned chicken even after a long time. CEO Kim has continued and developed this original method with additional ingredients like seeds and nuts for more than 20 years and firmly settled his business in the market. Kim says "There is a fierce competition in the food franchise industry in Korea especially in the chicken franchise. I can say that we established a solid foothold in the field thanks to our differentiated wellbeing ingredients, strict hygiene and an efficient supply of raw materials."

All the ingredients including sources are directly supplied from the factories of Manna Food which turned its business to franchise from a chicken farm in 1997. The menus of Twowing's sweet and source chicken include Seed Chicken, Boneless Chicken, Spicy Chicken, Fiery Chicken, Twowing Fried Chicken, Barbecue Chicken and Bake Chicken and they are all popular from men and women of all ages. Meanwhile, CEO Kim is also providing customized startup consulting services for potential business partners covering from recipe, management to profitable store spots.

Pioneering overseas market with undeniable taste
CEO Kim has a goal to pioneer overseas market and to provide a helping hand for people in need at the same time. As the first step, he has entered the Chinese market in cooperation with Chinese CBMC (Christian Business Men's Connection) in Cheongdo and Shenyang. He says "I want to provide a space where socially disadvantaged people can work, rest and share thing together. I've already bought a 3,300 square meter land while one of the missionaries has secured a 6,600 square meter, and the rest 2,100 square meter will soon be secured with the help of our supporters. Through this, we not only want to promote our business but also new missionaries." For his contribution to the field, Manna Food received a Presidential Prize at The Korea SME Competition in 2013 and also obtained HACCP Certification for its excellent standard of hygiene in 2014. Power Korea wishes Kim a great success in China.
