She won the third prize at Cambodia Freshie 2009 and is working as an anchor at Cambodia Sea TV at the same time. She started to have interest in Korea on the occasion that his husband has been a close friend of Dongmyung Kim, CEO of World Channel Sharing Foundation headquartered in Korea, for 10 years. She was enchanted by the charm of Korean cosmetics and eventually opened Korea Cosmetic Cambodia.

The scale of world cosmetics market recorded $249,5B in 2013 and Korea shares $7.1B (2.8%) with No.10 in rank. Skincare products among the whole industry take up $78.8B (31.6%) which has the biggest market share. According to KOTRA in last May, Cambodia’s import of Korean cosmetics was $12,000 in 2008 but was significantly increase to $69,000 in 2013. The Korean Wave in the region might have played a role as Korean products including cosmetics were constantly appeared on/off line media. The main consumers of Korean cosmetics are young women. Opened in Phnom Penh the capital city of Cambodia, Korea Cosmetic Cambodia is targeting the markets in the South East Asian countries including in Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos and India.
