Suggesting a whole-rounded education of a total art academy of entrance examination
"90% entrance rate with professional analysis on entrance examination"

Director of Busan Dongrae Campus of NADAUM Art Academy & Manager of the federation of institute of Busan JO YOUNG-BEOM

<NADAUM Art Academy> changed from design art academy to hybrid art academy of entrance examination has a reputation to be able to go to famous universities. As for the background to make it happened, director Jo Young Beom did that job. He analysed and studied the data faster than anyone else and reacted wisely and this is why the art acedemy could have a fame. The average rate of entrance is reaching about 90% so, we see what are the key for the success, some secrets for that and his hope from him.

Gaining the competitiveness by training skills and practical art test at the same time
Comparing other subjects requiring for general memorization and applied solution ability are very important, success and failureof fine arts entrance examination depend on how the student deals with the subject of a practical test. Therefore, students and their parents are most interested in choosing what art academy. Normally, the average of the rate of entrance among most art institutes is around 60~70% but there is one famous art institue boasting off more than 90% of the rate. It is NADAUM Art Academy in Dongrae, Busan and is considered to be the best art institue in Busan. Director Jo Young Beom changed the curriculum from a design to a total entrance examination art institue to apply to a new changing paradigm all the time.

He ran an institute business with another name for a long time but changed the name into NADAUM Art Academy as a new brand. “I needed bravery to chanbe the old name, but it was worth it. Actually, it was the first time for us to take the concept of total entrance examination art academy that can teach students all-rounded education including all the subjects. As an academy to deal with any current states faster than anyone, we are focusing on entrance examination and going to the upper level rather than teaching for hobby.”

Their guest lecture programs are also popular since it gives more idea to students so that they can figure out what is going on the trend at the moment. Director Jo was a strong-willed student when he was young, his business is as well as well-equiped in systerm and preparation as for an art practical test to let students go to most prestigious universities.

“For music and physical education, they ask for talent and training in the early time. But, art is not necessary to be like that. It is possible to be happened with minimum sensibility and willingness. So, despite of having no talent, someone who are striving all the time can be superior to people who have only talent. After all, we need to change from the concept that we are going to an art school because we are good at it to another concept that we are going there because we are not good at so want to learn more about.” If students go to a college of fine arts, they don't need to choose the subject as a job for good. Rather, they can have more choices to be able to have a job related to design and architecture and even blend them in a way. As it says, the secret of success for director Jo is that he makes the hybrid education between arts and other areas.

Hope to establish a prestigious art high school with pursuing future curriculum afterwards
Smart education called a future class since teacher has to use electronic blackboard at the practical classroom is his another pride. This is a way to enhance the quality of the class and to make students feel comfortable. With an ipad, teachers let students draw and can show that in a 3-D so that they can join the class more actively and let them find an object that they wanted to draw.

“We made this systerm by ourselves. This is what we developed the technique to lead students to creative class with an automatic sketch or sharing academic report program. By that, we could raise the rate of entrance to universities and the quality of education at the same time.” He let students find any materials whenever they want since he made art books as a file. And, he said the education using 3D is more effective to make them better at it rather than keeping changing the object with being imaginative. Busan Dongrae Campus of NADAUM Art Academy is a powerful academy with lots of influence and has other 10 campuses in Gangnam, Hongdae, and Gangseo areas. Director Jo is running three art institutes currently and being in charge of managing of the federation of art institutes.

As a senior executive of the federation of institute of Busan, he is working for Busan entrance examination academy as a manager. He said, “Unlikely, today's entrance  examination academy is different from the past a lot, we do various activities for the social benefit pursuit. Our first goal is that we made the institue to teach students with the all-rounded education. And later, we would like to establish a prestigious high school after growing the academy as an ultimate goal.” director Jo emphasized that it is very important to keep the dream up as far as for the arts. “I hope people don't betray the passion and belief if there is a willingness and a mind. Whatever it is in terms of category, I think people have to try until they are satisfied if there is a willingness.” Director Jo used to go to school with money he made for himself and declared his belief made himself. We cheer him up since he is going toward with aspiration and hope for the future following current reputation as for a prestigious institue of entrance examination wihtout any banner onto the building.
