김 원장은 앞으로 독일어 수요나 시장이 확대된다면 서울을 넘어서 다른 지역에까지도 강의를 지원해 줄 수 있는 방법과 독일에서 거주하고 있지만 독일어에 대한 기초지식이 부족해 의사소통의 어려움을 겪고 있는 분들을 위한 프로그램도 모색하고 싶다는 포부를 밝혔다.

Kim started his career as a German language teacher in renowned foreign language schools in Jong-ro for 20 years starting in 1996 and is running two campuses now in Jong-ro and Gangnam. He opened Jong-ro campus in 2007 and opened another in Gangnam in 2011. This was possible because Kim has unstoppable passion in teaching German language. He released information on the language and studying in Germany through his homepage even before he opened off line campus. As the institute only teaches German, they have numerous special classes. It is common that the number of students get reduced as they move on to higher level but Kim's institute have the best teachers in all levels that they provide advanced level and examination class with equal number of students. Kim says "I think those who run a business regardless its field must be a specialist himself. I, for example, must know what kind of class they want and why they need to learn German. In that terms, communication with students are vital."

Attracting a variety of students with different purpose and background
BSK Deutsch-Institut currently is providing 60 classes with their professional teachers. Their students cover from those who wish to study in Germany, diplomats, correspondents, and employees in German companies. However, the students who wish to study abroad take most seats among them. It is a trend now that they pass elementary level German Language Test 'Telc B1 (ZD)' before they cross into Germany, and it will be more beneficial if they pass university entry requirement of 'Test DaF' in Korea. Also, many companies ask related tests such as SNULT (Seoul National University) and FLEX (Hankuk University of Foreign Studies). The teachers of the institute are also examiners and they were dispatched before to test for diplomats, to German Language Advisory of MBC drama 'The King To Hearts' and to German Language Questionnaire Supervision of KBS 'Quiz Korea'. They also established business partnership with Lufthansa so that student can fly over at a reduced price and also provide a discount for flight attendants of Lufthansa.

Kim says "as I have 20 years of experience, many teachers of the institute used to be my students. Some of them are working for various organizations in Germany and most of our students heard the institute from them. With this network, we can provide practical advice on studying, working and living in Germany." Meanwhile, Kim is planning to expand the business nationwide when demand and market grow bigger and to develop programs for those who live in Germany but not familiar with the language yet. Kim says "you have to invest a lot of time to master German. It is important to listen and repeat simple and easy sentence."
