2015 괴산세계유기농산업엑스포 성공개최를 위한 힘찬 출발 
『2015괴산세계유기농산업엑스포』 개막이 200여일 앞으로 다가온 가운데 유기농엑스포 조직위는 지난 3일 방송인 송해 씨를 공동위원장으로 위촉했다. 위촉식에는 공동위원장인 이시종 충청북도지사, 유기농엑스포조직위 허경재 사무총장, 이언구 충북도의회 의장을 비롯해 이양섭 산업경제위원장, 임각수 괴산군수, 손상목 前세계유기농업학회장 등이 참석했다. 참석자들은 성공적인 엑스포 개최를 위해 뜻을 모을 것을 다짐했다. 송해 위원장은 건강한 이미지와 서민적이고 훈훈한 정감을 주는 대표인사로 최적의 인물로 평가되고 있다.

이시종 조직위원장은 “엑스포를 반드시 성공적으로 개최하여 도민 행복시대와 충북경제 4% 시대를 앞당겨 실현하겠다"는 각오를 밝혔다. 조직위원회는 D-200을 계기로 국내외 홍보마케팅, 기업 및 컨벤션 유치 등 본격적인 엑스포 준비에 나선다. 특히 관람객들이 유기농의 진정한 가치를 알고 쉽게 실천할 수 있도록 체험 프로그램을 중점 추진할 계획이다. 

충청북도 투자유치단 독일서 투자유치‧상호협력 협약
충청북도 투자유치단은 현지시각 지난 달 11일 베를린에서 첨단의료기기업체 MGB사(CEO. Sven Hempel)와 3천만 달러 투자유치협약을 체결했다. MGB사는 첨단 내시경용 카메라, 초음파 영상진단기 등을 생산하며, 최소 절제술로 치료가 간편한 의료기기 제조기술을 보유하고 있다. 2011년 접촉 이래 지속적인 관심을 보인 MGB사는 2020년까지 오송에 15,000㎡ 규모의 첨단의료기기 제조시설을 설립 예정이다. 또한 도 대표단은 베를린 광역지역의 바이오 보건 분야 기술 및 산업 개발 담당 베를린파트너사를 방문하여 기술교류 및 기업지원 협력방안을 논의하기도 했다. 베를린 파트너사는 충북테크노파크와 지난해부터 협력 사업을 추진하고 있다. 충청북도는 향후 프라운호퍼를 통해 도내 기업의 유럽시장 진출을 도울 예정이다. 설문식 정무부지사는 “유럽시장 진출을 위한 해외교두보를 확보하게 됐다”며 “앞으로 프라운호퍼의 연구시설을 오송 지역에 유치할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 전했다.

충청북도 공무원 대상 탓문화청산운동본부 김명상 대표 강연 열려
한편 지난달 27일 충청북도 자치연수원에서는 충청북도 공무원 대상 특강이 열렸다. 강연의 주제는 '건강과 행복'으로, 명상맨발등산을 통해 병을 떨쳐내고 정신적으로도 건강해질 수 있었던 탓문화청산운동본부 김명상 대표의 경험을 나누며, 공무원이 건강해야 우리나라가 바로 설 수 있음을 이야기했다. 김명상 대표는 중앙공무원 교육원, 국회사무처 직원, 경동대학교 재학생 취업 특강, 삼성 SDI (천안) 임직원 특강 등 다수의 강연활동을 병행하면서 각박해져가는 현대 사회에서 놓치기 쉬운 ‘행복’의 가치를 널리 전파하고 있다.

Promoting a successful 2015 Goesan International Organic Expo
'With the impending '2015 Goesan International Organic Expo (D-200), the organizing committee appointed the broadcaster Hae Song as a co-chairman of the committee on 3 last month. The appointing ceremony was participated by a co-chairman Sijong Lee (the Governor of Chungbuk Province), the Secretary General of the committee Gyeongjae Huh, the chairman of the Provincial Assembly Eungu Lee, the chairman of Business and Industry Committee Yangsup Lee, the Governor of Goesan County Gaksu Im, and the President of former Korea Association of Organic Agriculture Sangmok Son. The participants agreed to do their best to successfully hold the event. The newly appointed co-chairman Song is credited as one who has strong, folksy and warm image. Co-chairman Lee said "I will realize economic development and better social welfare by successfully holding the event." The committee is preparing to carry out marketing, to invite enterprises and conventions, and to do experience programs for audience so that they can understand about the value of organic and put it into practice. 

The Province's Foreign Investment Promotion Group signs agreement on investment and cooperation in Germany
The Chungbuk Province's Foreign Investment Promotion Group signed an agreement with a medical equipment company MGB (CEO. Sven Hempel) on 11 last month in Berlin to investment $30m in building cutting edge medical equipment manufacturing facilities on a 15,000㎡ land in Osong by 2020. MGB produces endoscopy cameras and ultrasonic scanning apparatus and has technology to make simple medical equipments that can cure with a minimum exeresis. The group also visited the technology & industrial development practitioner affiliate in Berlin (bio health field) and discussed on technical exchange and cooperation on business support. The affiliate has been carrying out cooperative projects with Chungbuk Techno Park since last year. The Province is planning to help provincial business enter European market through Fraunhofer. The vice governor Moonsik Sul said "we secured an overseas bridgehead to enter European market and we will do our best to invite Fraunhofer research facilities to Osong." 

Kim holds a lecture for public servants of the Province
Myeongsang Kim, the Director of Liquidation Movement of Blaming Culture, held a special lecture for public servants of Chungbuk Province on 27 last month at a training institute on the topic of 'Health and Happiness' in which he said that public servants must be healthy if the country is to be healthy. Kim is famous for barefoot climbing which he used for overcoming his illness and gaining mental health. Kim is spreading the value of happiness by giving lectures in various places including Central Officials Training Institute, Secretariat of the National Assembly, Kyungdong University (on career path for students) and Samsung SDI (Cheonan).
