The keyword of lecturer Back is inter-position communication, leadership, coaching and customer service. When asked about emotional control, Baek said "I personally think manual is very important. Problem is that it is not used in reality and in most cases left out somewhere in the corner of a shelf. If organizational culture is to be matured, an appropriate system is needed. We can say that when it takes up 30% of communication, emotional part can take the rest 70% and when these two parts are well harmonized, organizational culture can be active." She said about the importance on manual and principle and also one's passion to bear a fruit. Especially the 'passion' that strengthens relationships means 'power' and for this reason, Baek emphasizes on importance of Small Talk such as asking questions like "how is your mother's health?", "how is your cold?", and "how is your broken car?". It means that exchanging daily events can lead to communication at a leadership level. Baek continues "but if you say it just like formality your junior staff regards it as pretence. Therefore, it is important to put your honesty in what you say and you need to carefully observe your junior staff to give customized small talk to each one. It is often true that they stay because they have trust in you even if they are not happy with the company."

Talking about a leader who has balance
Another important factor Baek points out for a leader to have is a sense of balance. It means that one can catch precisely the difference between principle and flexibility. She says "if a leader is facing a situation that she has to break the principle and resorts to an expedient and it happens continuously, her team members can feel skeptical and distressed. It means that they turn their attitude to passive from active. Important thing is that the leader need to encourage her staff that they have done right thing according to the principle. And this encouragement should be done on the day it happened but not on the day such as staff party. In other words, to have a sense of balance between principle and flexibility and apply it to encourage her team is the key to grow together." 
It might sound like a cliche but many people do not even put this basic principles in practice in reality. Therefore, we need to pay attention to Baek's advice on three things: 'importance of principle and manual', 'a warm word' and 'a sense of balance', and it should be done today but not tomorrow.
