However, through rehabilitation, he successfully rebuilt himself by being a provisional member of the provincial and the national rugby team. He then was recruited by 707 Anti-terror Task Force but, unfortunate still was waiting for him.

"I fell down 16 meters below. I had but to give up the job. I went to Naju City to try natural healing and exercise therapy." Kim recalled his memory of building his strength by chi-up bar, national physical exercise, and physical training. He then poured his know-how into 'Balance Walking' and the miracle started from there. "The experience when I was in a rescue team gave a lot of influence to me which I studied about the methods of exercise. The key problem was 'sitting for a long time'. This was the cause of all diseases and all evils. It was proven recently but I apprehended it 10 years ago. Working in front of a computer for a long time can cause a turtle neck and a disc. I predicted it, alongside lack of exercise of modern people, would be a big problem."

Making Balance Walking to be a global exercise
Kim's brainchild 'Balance Walking' is the result of his know-how on physical training, national physical exercise, walking and hapkido. But because it is an exercise, it is not within the boundary of applying a patent. Kim then just started to spread it in Gwangju City. "Nutrition is important but an exercise for everybody and everywhere is more so. I took a consideration on the elements that are beneficial to brain, heart and spine when I was doing body correction. Especially, the spine is a channel of nerves. If it doesn't flow smoothly, it fails delivering all the functions of the body. Old people who try to climb often say that they just feel a physical weakness. Like I overcame injury and pain, I started to make a manual to eradicate obesity which became the manual to foster Balance Walking specialists of International Excercise Prescription Management Association." It is a home training style and thousands of people experienced its effect in Gwangju City only. But Kim lost the manual for some reason and had to start all over again. However, when the stage was moved to Seoul, over 10,000 people participated in trying Balance Walking and the number of specialists were increased to 30 and the method is expected to be in the curriculum of Sunshine Village Center Silver Town. "People from the Philippines and the US also visited to learn. I'm planning to open the markets in Brazil and China." A 30 minute Balance Walking can give you an effect of a 2 hour climbing and different programs can give different feel. Kim uses the words of English for command and introduces the elements which can help blood circulation.

The fact that it can be done by 700 people in one place at the same time make Balance Walking a promising future. Children nowadays are suffering from lack of willpower, emotional instability, learning disability, and lack of social activities which can lead to ADHD and tic disorders due to the excessive use of internet and smart phone. Balance Walking can improve these problems quickly and they are currently working on establishing it in the school programs. Also, yoga teachers regularly visit to learn and Kim is planning to reflect the related elements into Balance Walking. If the training methods are systematized, Kim will give more lectures. You can learn it in 4 weeks and can teach others after 2 months which can lead to obtaining the certificate.

For this, Kim made a corporate body. Kim also met President Park in 2011 and he has an ambition to promote it nationwide. "I feel worth as it contributes for innovation and Creative Economy. There are Korean national flag and reconciliation of West and East in my heart. My dream is to create jobs for elderly people and make people unite through Balance Walking." Power Korea hopes Kim will strengthen the basis of healthy Korea.
