호식이두마리치킨 800호 가맹점 돌파기념 사랑의 쌀 800포 기증,

전 임직원 사랑나눔 봉사 실천!

‘상생경영’의 대표주자 호식이두마리치킨(대표: 최호식)이 800호 가맹점 돌파를 기념하여 전 임직원이 하나 되어 뜻 깊은 자리를 마련해 화제이다. 호식이두마리치킨은 10월 28일 청량리 밥퍼나눔운동본부에서 실시한 ‘호식이두마리치킨과 함께하는 사랑나눔 봉사’에서 전 임직원이 참석한 가운데 ‘사랑의 쌀’ 800포를 기증하였고, 치킨을 현장에서 직접 조리하여 제공하며 밥을 퍼주는 등 봉사활동을 실시하였다, 또한 직접 제작한 ‘사랑의 모자’ 1,000개를 손수 소외계층 이웃들에게 나누어 주며 온정을 베풀었다. ‘두 마리 치킨의 원조’로 유명한 호식이두마리치킨은 작년 11월 8일 700호점 돌파 때 ‘사랑의 쌀’ 700포를 기증 한데 이어 채 1년이 지나지 않은 올해 10월 28일에 또 다시 800호 가맹점 돌파를 기념하여 ‘사랑의 쌀’ 800포를 기증하였다. 1년에 100개 이상의 가맹점이 늘어나는 놀라운 성장세는 물론, 성장과 함께 항상 끊임없는 사랑 나눔을 실천하며 치킨업계의 리더다운 모습을 보이고 있는 것이다. 최호식 대표는 “이번 800호점 돌파를 계기로 전 임직원이 소외계층과 함께하는 ‘상생’의 의미를 다시 한 번 돌아보는 계기가 된 뜻 깊은 행사였다“ 며 ”그동안 고객에게 받은 사랑을 돌려드리고, 800호점 돌파 기념행사가 소외계층을 비롯해 모든 이들과 함께 기쁨을 공유할 수 있는 자리가 되었으면 하는 바람을 담았다“라고 전했다. 호식이두마리치킨이 사랑나눔행사를 실시한 밥퍼나눔운동본부는 ‘이 땅에 밥 굶는 이 없을 때 까지’를 슬로건으로 전 세계 어린이와 결식인구 7,000명에게 무료급식사업을 진행하는 범국제적인 단체이며, 호식이두마리치킨은 지난해에도 ‘사랑의 쌀’ 700포를 기증 하는 등 밥퍼나눔운동본부를 통해 끊임없는 봉사와 기부활동을 진행해 왔다. 이밖에도 호식이두마리치킨은 달성군과 의성군 등 소년소녀가장과 소외가정을 위해 꾸준히 사랑의 쌀을 기부해 왔으며, 지난해 700호 가맹점 돌파를 기념하여 사랑의 쌀 700포 기탁, 2013 나눔 송년회 성품후원과 연말 대구시를 통해서 1천만원 상당의 치킨교환권을 이웃사랑 성품으로 전달하였다. 그리고 2013년 7월에는 2013 대구 치맥페스티벌 수익금 전액(11,538,000원)을 이웃사랑을 위해 기부하였다. 또한 작년부터 시행해온 달성군 <고마워요 사랑해요>후원 행사에서는 조손, 한 부모 가정 세대에 매달 치킨교환권 30장(60만원 상당)을 지원하고 있고, 우리나라 최대 규모의 장애인 재활시설인 정립전자와 파주보육원, 청운보육원 등 복지시설에 정기적인 사랑나눔 행사를 계속해서 하고 있다.

‘상생’과‘나눔’경영, 2014 대한민국 나눔국민대상에서 보건복지부 장관상 수상

이러한 ‘상생’과 ‘나눔’을 바탕으로 호식이두마리치킨 최호식 대표는 지난 10월 9일 여의도 KBS 신관에서 진행된 <2014 대한민국 나눔국민대상> 시상식에서 보건복지부 장관상을 수상하기도 하였다. 나눔국민대상은 사회 각 분야에서 나눔 문화 확산을 위해 공헌한 유공자를 발굴·포상하여 행복한 사회를 실현하고자 마련된 자리로 나눔실천을 통해 사회발전에 기여한 이들에게 수여하는 상이다. 최호식 대표는 지난 2012년 11월 대한민국 세종 나눔 봉사대상 최고상인 국방부 장관상을 수상한 데 이어 이번에도 보건복지부 장관상을 수상하며, 정부 기관으로부터 꾸준히 사회공헌 활동을 인정받고 있다. 특히 올해는 <2014 대한민국 가치경영대상> 상생경영 대상, <대한민국 신창조인 대상> 상생·협력부분 대상, <대한민국 기록문화대상> 최고기록 대상(최다친인척 가맹 프랜차이즈) 등 공신력 있는 다양한 기관으로부터 상생부문을 모두 수상하는 모습을 보이기도 했다. 

‘상생경영’을 바탕으로 700호점을 넘어 채 1년이 지나기 전에 800호점을 돌파한 호식이두마리치킨은 기념행사의 의미를 ‘상생’과 ‘나눔’에 두며 행사의 가치를 더했다. ‘강한 자가 살아남는 것이 아니라 함께 하는 자가 살아남을 수 있다‘는 일념을 바탕으로 끊임없이 실시하는 사랑나눔은 다른 기업들에게 많은 귀감이 되고 있다. 이러한 온정의 나눔문화가 확산되어 더욱 따뜻한 사회가 되길 기원해보며, 호식이두마리치킨의 1,000호점을 기대해 본다.

The leader of win-win management Hosigi Chicken (CEO Hosig Choi) held a meaningful event with the whole executives and staff to celebrate their 800th branch. Hosigi Chicken donated 800 sacks of Loving Rice at the 'Love Share Service with Hosigi Chicken' hosted by Rice Share Movement Headquarters on 28 October and served their chicken. They also gave out 1,000 Loving Caps, made by themselves, to disadvantaged neighbors. Hosigi Chicken, who is the originator of two-chicken, actually donated 700 sacks of Loving Rice to celebrate their 700th branch on 8 November last year. They show a significant growth by opening 100 branches a year while volunteering for community services. Choi said "it was a meaningful event that all the staff were reminded of what it is like 'living together'. We wanted to give back the love we received from our customers to the society." Rice Share Movement Headquarters is an international organization which carries out 'free meals project' for the children of the world and 7,000 poorly-fed people under their slogan 'Until there is no starvation'. Hosigi Chicken has been donating Loving Rice to a child head of household and underprivileged homes in Dalsung county and Uiseong county. They also gave out a lot of gifts and $10,000 worth chicken coupons for the neighbors through Daegu city at the end of the year 2013. In July 2013, they participated in '2013 Daegu Chicken Beer Festival' and donated their total profits of $11,000. Since the Dalsung county's <Thank you and Love you> event, they have been giving out 30 monthly chicken coupons(worth $300) to Grandparent-headed families and single parent families and carrying out voluntary services in Geonglip Electronics(rehabilitation facilities for the disabled), Paju Orphanage, and Chungwoon Orphanage.

Winning the Minister Prize from 2014 Korea Share People Awards for their win-win and share management. 

With their win-win and share management, Hosigi Chicken won the Minister of Health and Welfare prize on 9 October at KBS New Hall. Korea Share People Awards finds those who contributed to expanding the share culture and rewards for their good deeds. Choi won the Minster of National Defence Prize in November 2012 as well. Especially this year, Choi has won the numerous prizes in the coexistence part from <2014 Korea Value Management Awards>, <Korea New Creator Awards>, and <Korea Archiving Culture Awards>. Hosigi Chicken emphasizes that it is not the stronger ones who survive but the sharers, and their good deeds are good examples for many enterprises. The Korea's top bilingual magazine Power Korea hopes that this sharing culture will expand and looks forward to seeing Hosigi Chicken's 1,000th branch.
