알파옵트론은 올해 스위스 제네바에서 손톱 손질 기구 ‘글라스 네일 샤이너’로 열린 세계 최대 규모 발명품 전시회 ‘제네바 국제 발명품 전시회’에서 금상을 수상한 데 이어, 사우디아라비아 발명협회 특별상까지 2관왕을 기록했다. 초기부터 정부의 심사, 지원으로 완제품 출시에 성공한 알파옵트론은 중소기업진흥공단 우수사례 선정에 이어 전경련 30개 유망기업 선정, 중소기업청 지원 사업 등 기술창업 기업의 공채로 불리는 거의 모든 공식적 지원 사업을 심사 통과했다. 알파옵트로은 수출 기업의 기초적 대외 공신력인 ISO, CE, KC, 벤처기업인증 등을 이미 초기에 완료했다.

네일버퍼와 네일파일을 융합한 ‘세계 최초의 발명품’ 글라스 네일 샤이너는 광학유리에 마이크로미터 단위 규칙적 패턴을 만드는 정밀 패턴 에칭, 불량률을 줄이고 안정적인 표면 패턴 구현을 위한 잉크와 약품 처리 기술(PR잉크처리기술), 열 강화와 화학 강화를 융합한 특수강화기술을 적용한 내구성 강화 기술 등 수십 가지 원천 기술을 7년간 연구개발하고, 전공인 광학공학과 휴대폰 강화 유리(모토로라 모델 등 한국 제1세대 강화유리) 기술을 실현해왔던 커리어가 기초가 되어, 심플해 보이나 첨단 광학유리 기술 군이 융합 ? 결집해있는 네일샤이너를 탄생시켰다. 스펀지 타입이었던 기존의 네일 버퍼 시장이 글라스를 선호하는 것을 파악해 ‘광학유리’로 혁신하되, 부드럽게 갈리는 즉시 윤기와 광택을 나게 한 네일샤이너의 원천기술은 그간 한국, 일본, 중국 특허를 획득하게 했다. 알파옵트론은 “네일샤이너가 조금 알려지니, 복제품이 유통되었다. 중소기업으로서는 기술 보안이 시급히 요구되며, 지금은 특허 방어도 안전하지 않다. 특허를 더 보완할 계획”이라며 지재권 보호에 위기감을 보였다.
네일샤이너, 일본 K사와 지브롤터생명보험 등 일본 전역 프라자 및 로프트 매장 입점
알파옵트론은 현재 일본 최대 규모의 고급 제품 매장과 유통 배급망을 지닌 K기업과의 협력으로, 신뢰가 누적된 우수 고급 품목만 유통될 수 있는 일본 전역 (소니)프라자 40여 매장, 로프트에 공급을 성공시켜, 지난 8월 1일부터 일본의 여성 소비자를 사로잡는 인기몰이에 들어갔다. 물론 고급 우수 제품 콜렉션 매장인 로프트 입점은 돈키호테나 라쿠텐 같은 다른 관련 매장에 큰 파급효과를 지닌다. 중동, 유럽에서도 바이어들의 문의가 잇따르고 있는 알파옵트론은 7월 한 달 동안에만 일본 네일 시장에 1만여 개를 공급했고, 푸르덴셜 계열 지브롤터에 2만여 개를 공급했다.

바이어든 소비자든 경험과 시연으로 겪어보아야 이해가 가능한 ‘글라스 네일 샤이너’는 알파옵트론 초기 해외 시장 타깃을 직감한 일본 ‘Drugstore’ 전시회를 비롯해, 홍콩, 싱가폴, 스위스, 북경, 동경 전시회 모두 500세트씩 완판을 기록하며 ‘대박 조짐’을 보이고 있다. 전시회에서 네일샤이너를 시연해본 소비자와 바이어들은 완판 이후 쓰던 제품이나 판촉 제품이라도 달라고 했다. 최근 알파옵트론은 국내 대형 엔터테인먼트사의 문의까지 이어져 연예인 캐릭터 제휴를 고려중으로, 이 기획사는 일본을 주요 거점으로 여유와 개인 문화가 정착한 선진국 해외 시장에서부터 배급에 성공한 네일샤이너를 국내 시장과 중국 시장을 장기적으로 겨냥한 ‘산업기술의 한류’로 국내 시장과 현격한 차이가 있는, 자기 돌봄 문화가 우세한 선진국 시장에서부터 인기를 누려온 글라스네일샤이너의 이미지를 기반해 상생 전략으로 기획 중이기도 하다.

알파옵트론은 이후 로컬마다 현격한 디퍼런스를 체감하는 미지의 해외 시장을 개척하기 위해 밀리노, 독일, 홍콩, 동경 등 내년 초까지 4곳의 전시회에 참가할 계획이다. 최근 알파옵트론은 중기청 수출 컨설팅 서비스 관련 지원 사업에 또다시 선정되어, 일본과 비교할 수 없는 내수 시장을 지닌 미국 아마존 입점에 관한 계약까지 성공했으나 창업 초기부터 대형 마트에 싼값에 뿌려지는 네일파일과 버퍼를 지양해 개발시킨 ‘품질경영’의 결정체인 글라스 네일샤이너가 일본을 비롯한 기존 세계 시장 가격대가 최저 원화 1만 8천원 대인 고가전략을 구가하고 있어, 1만원 대로 내려가는 아마존 미국에 공급할지는 미지수다.

In every world exhibition, the big record of being sold out, the inquiry from buyers is in the line, even from the Middle East ‘Alpha Optron’ got awarded the gold medal in the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva, which is the biggest invention festival in the world by their ‘glass nail shiner’ and after that, they got a special award from the Foundation for Saudi Arabian Inventions in a row. From the beginning, ‘Alpha Optron’ got supported by the government’s support and the government helped them come out with a result and it made it successful. They was chosen the excellent case of the Small and medium Business Corporation, one of 30 promising companies list by the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) and like this, they almost passed the official supporting business that is called as a public recruit of technological start-ups. ‘Alpha Optron’ completed with all the certification such as ISO, CE, KC and venture certificate.

The world first invention that is mixed with nail butter and nail pile, which is ‘Glass Nail Shiner’ is applied by decades of original technologies like a delicate pattern etching to make a regular base pattern in micrometer to optical glass, PR ink processing technology for realizing the stable surficial patter and reducing the wrong products and durability strengthening technology adapted with special strengthening technology etc. They studied and researched this skill for last 7 years and their major department, which is an optical engineering and tempered glasses for mobile (the first Korean tempered glasses like MOTOROLA etc.) became their career base, so this ‘Nail Shiner’ looking very simple was created.
The original technology of ‘Nail Shiner’ got them many patents from Korea, Japan and China. ‘Alpha Optron’ showed their crisis of protecting the right of the technology with saying, “As the nail shiner has been know a bit more, there are many copies. As a small company, the security of technology is needed as soon as possible and even now, all the patents are not safe, frankly. So, we will plan to secure that more than now.”

‘Alpha Optron’ is currently cooperating with the ‘K’ company that has the largest scale of high-end products stores and distribution networks and made the contract to provide for SONY Plaza in Japan, which is about 40 stores and LOFT from August 1st. Of course, having a ship in LOFT that is a collection store having excellent products has a ripple effect on ‘Don Quixote’ or Rakuten, immensely. ‘Alpha Optron’ has a lot of requires by buyers from the Middle East and Europe as well. Only for July, ‘Alpha Optron’ provided about 10,000 into the Japanese markets already and sent their items about 20,000 to Gibraltar, which is associated with PRUDENTIAL.

Lately, ‘Alpha Optron’ was picked up as an one-stop service supporting business again by the Small and medium Business Corporation and succeeded in making a contract with AMAZON in the states, which is a great domestic market that cannot be comparable with Japanese one, but the ‘Nail Shiner’ of ‘Alpha Optron’ that is an essence of quality management is pricing costly, which is about 18,000 KW at the market in Japan and other global markets, so it is not assured that they would provide it at the low price, under 10,000 KW yet.
