사회공헌 활동으로 가요계에 불어오는 착한 바람

기존에는 기부라는 것이 사회적 지위가 있는 사람들이 돈으로만 하는 비일상적 활동이라는 인식이 팽배했지만, 최근에는 재능기부의 형태로 단체·기업 혹은 개인이 자신이 가지고 있는 재능을 사회로 환원하는 사례가 늘고 있다. 법조인들은 법률적인 부분으로, 금융인들은 경제적인 부분으로 이웃사랑을 실천하고 있고, 교육자들과 대학생들은 취약계층의 아이들을 돌보며 교육을 담당하기도 한다. 이에 다양한 재능기부로 사회공헌 활동에 앞장 서 온 한국가수협회의 선풍 회장은 “봉사는 금액이 아니라 진정성이 우선되어져야 할 문제”라며 “노래를 하는 사람은 노래로, 악기를 다루는 사람은 연주로 각자 재능을 나눔으로 봉사하는 것 또한 진정한 봉사”라며 지속적인 봉사의 중요성을 설파한다. 

가수들의 권익 보장에 앞장서며, 개인 2집 앨범 준비 중 

가수 선풍은 1986년 KBS 신인무대 출연을 계기로 1995년 제3회 배호가요제에서 수상을 하였고, 2010년 3월 데뷔앨범을 발표한 후 대표곡 ‘가짜반지’로 활동을 시작했다. 그가 직접 작사·작곡에 참여한 ‘가짜반지’는 가짜반지를 선물할 수밖에 없는 가난한 남자의 독특한 사랑고백을 담고 있는데, 동 시대를 살아가는 남자들의 슬픈 자화상이 신나는 멜로디와 만나 깊은 해학과 풍자를 자아낸다. 이 노래 패러디 동영상은 온라인 네이트 판에서 인기순위1위를 하였다 그는 이 노래로 데뷔하던 해인 2010년 제18회 대한민국문화연예대상 남자신인상과 창작인의 날 창작인이 뽑은 남자신인상을 수상하는 쾌거를 이뤄냈으며, 2011년에는 제4회 대한민국사회봉사대상을 수상하는 영광을 누리기도 했다. “처음에는 권투 선수가 되는 게 꿈이었어요. 단순히 힘든 훈련과 성공에 대한 과도한 부담감을 이겨내기 위해 음악을 찾아 들었죠. 음악이 제게는 가장 큰 위로였는데, 그러다보니 점점 더 음악이 가진 매력에 심취하게 되었습니다.” 가수 선풍은 가요계 데뷔 이후 가수로, 연기자로, MC로 다양한 방송활동을 이어오고 있으며, 현재는 2집 앨범을 준비 중에 있다. ‘사랑의 배터리’를 작곡한 스타 작곡가 조영수가 앨범작업에 참여해 성인가요계에서는 벌써부터 2집의 대한 기대감을 한층 고조시키고 있다. 

한편 가수 선풍은 2006년부터 지금까지 사단법인한국가수협회의 회장으로 취임하여 가수들의 권익을 보장에 앞장서고, 선배 가수들의 노후복지를 위해 힘 쏟아 왔다. 1000여명의 젊은 음악인들로 구성된 한국가수협회는 기라성 같은 선배님들과 현재인기가수와 신인 유망주가수들이 함께 활동을 하고 있는 기대되는 대중음악단체다. “문화연예예술의 다양성을 사회에 전파하는 단체입니다. 저희 협회는 폭넓은 대중음악을 일반인들에게 알리며, 글로벌 시대에 한국 음악의 위상을 세계로 알려나가는데 일임을 담당해 나갈 계획입니다.” 이를 위해 한국가수협회는 중국내 한류문화 콘텐츠개발에 관심을 가지고 중국광서 tv 방송국의 Qin Qiao Xiar감독을 영입하여 MOU를 체결했다. 이로써 한국과 중국의 음악인들의 활발한 문화예술 교류를 본격화하며 한류문화의 수준을 더욱 격상시켜나갈 방침이다. 더불어 재능 있는 젊은 인재들을 발굴하며, 아마추어와 무명가수들에게도 더 많은 무대가 제공될 수 있도록 지속적인 노력을 이어나갈 예정이다. 

다양한 사회공헌 활동으로 국민 화합을 도모

사단법인한국가수협회의 회장이자 사단법인다문화연예예술인총연합회의 대표이사인 선풍은 지금까지 다양한 형태의 봉사활동으로 사회공헌 활동에 이바지해왔다. 서울시에서 지정하는 연 20회의 행사에 빠짐없이 참석을 해왔고, 복지관이나 경로당을 방문하여 다양한 재능봉사와 공연을 이어왔다. 지난해 6월에는 복지TV로 전국에 방영된 한국가수협회가 주최하고 서울시와 여성가족부가 공동 후원한 ‘파이팅! 다문화 2013’이라는 제목의 공연을 성공적으로 개최하기도 했다. 현재 그는 다음 주 캄보디아에서 있을 한국가수협회와 다문화연예술인총연합회의 프놈펜 지회 개소식을 앞두고 이번 2014년 5월20일 오후에 출국 때문에 바쁜 나날을 보내고 있다. 특히 그는 다문화 가정에 대한 지원을 아끼지 않고 있는데, 바로 그가 다문화 가정을 이룬 장본인이기 때문이다. “다양한 문화가 존중받을 때 우리 사회가 건강해지고 문화예술도 더욱 발전할 수 있다고 생각합니다. 저 또한 다문화 가정을 이룬 가장으로 모범적으로 사회에 봉사하며 다문화 가정의 아이들이 사회의 주역으로 자기 역량을 마음껏 펼칠 수 있도록 돕고 싶습니다.” 현재 그는 예체능에 재능이 많은 다문화 가정의 청소년들을 지원하기 위해 지속적인 프로젝트들로 기부활동에 앞장서고 있다. 또한 베트남 현지한인회 문화위원, 한국 베트남 가족연합회의 홍보대사직으로도 왕성하게 활동하고 있는 가수 선풍은 베트남에 남겨진 라이따이한(한국인과 베트남 여성 사이에서 태어난 2세 혼혈인)과 현지다문화가정에 많은 관심을 쏟고 있다.     

한편 한국가수협회는 매년 정기적으로 공연되어왔던 ‘화이팅 다문화’ 공연을 세월호 참사로 인해 축소 또는 연기하기로 최종 결정했다. “그들이 암흑의 물속에서 극심한 공포를 견디며 구조를 기다리다 속절없이 죽어갔던 통곡의 바다를 잊어서는 안 됩니다. 지금은 사회 각 분야에 대한 처절한 반성과, 전 방위적인 국가 개조가 시작되어져야 할 시기입니다.” 현재 글로벌 커뮤니티협회 문화이사, 서울중앙팔각회 회장, 대한청소년전통무술연맹 부회장, 서울시 생활체육 합기도협회 중앙이사, 누리스타 중앙회 나눔 봉사단 사무국장 등으로 다방면에서 활약해오며 사회 정의를 실현하고 있는 가수 선풍, 그의 뛰어난 음악적 재능과 진정성 있는 봉사활동이 가요계에 착한 바람(善風)을 주도하며 더 깊이 있는 울림을 선사하고 있다. 

마지막으로 선풍 회장은 위에서 언급했듯이 이번 세월호 참사가 국가시스템의 전면적인 개조와 혁신의 밑거름이 되기를 간절히 바란다고 전했다.

In order to overcome simply hard training and excessive burden for success I found and listened to music, and music was the largest comfort, to do that I became more and more fascinated with the charm of the music." singer sun poong has been doing various broadcasting activities such as a singer, actor, MC since its debut in the music industry, currently under way to prepare the second album. 'Love Battery'  was written by the composer Cho Young-su, who is known to participate in the album, which has further heightened the anticipation of the second album.

  Singer Sun Poong has been taking the lead in ensuring the rights of singers and has been trying to do his best for old welfare of senior singers since he took over as chairman of Singer Association of Korea in 2006. Singer Association of Korea is a pop music group composed of more than 300 young musicians, and a galaxy of seniors, new singers, promising singers. "It is the organization introducing cultural diversity into society. Our association will introduce a wide range of popular music to the public, and the music of Korea phase, which it plans to be in charge of."  Singers Association of Korea, in order to do this, concerned with the development of Korean cultural content, recruited a director of Tv stations China Guangxi Zhuang Qin Qiao Xiar and Signed the MOU. Active musicians in Korea and China Culture and Art accelerate the exchange and plans to upgrade the level of Korean culture. By discovering talented young talents, he plans to continued to make an effort to give more stages for amateur singers and unknown singers.  

To promote national unity various social contribution activities 

  The chairman of Singers Association of Korea and CEO of multi-cultural association of entertainment corporation artists has been contributing to social contribution activities and various types of volunteer activities so far. It has attended by 20 times of annual events specified in Seoul City and has been serving diverse talents and performances by visiting community welfare center and senior citizen centers in June last year the event 'Fighting! Multi-cultural 2013' hosted by the Korea Singers Association, co-sponsored by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the performance was also held successfully  which televised nationally on TV welfare. He has been having a busy time because of departure in the afternoon on May 20, 2014, ahead of the branch opening ceremony in Phnom Penh on Korea singer Association and  Multi- cultural Association of Artists scheduled to be in Cambodia next week. In particular, he spares no support for multi-cultural families just because he is the one who achieved multi-cultural family. "When getting respect different cultures, the health of our society is becoming more able to develop culture.  I am the one has made multi-cultural family and want the exemplary service to society, want them to expand their ability as the leading role of the multi-cultural society." He is leading the donation activities with ongoing projects in order to support multi cultural youths having a lot of talents about arts or physical education course. The singer sun poong who is also active in Vietnam Korean Association members and Korea Association of Vietnam honorary ambassador, is very committed to Rai Ttayihan (second generation of mixed-blood people born between Korean men and Vietnam women) and local multi cultural families. The singer Association of Korea finally decided to postpone 'fighting multi cultural' which has been performed every year due to disaster of Seweol Ship. "They are in the dark water, withstanding extreme fear, helplessly were dying, and we do not forget the sea of ??wailing. Now with each sector of society and the brutal reflection, it is time to start remodeling all of the nation." The singer sun poong who has been fulfilling social justice, playing an active part in many aspects such as Director of Global Cultural Community Association, the Seoul Central octagonal president, vice-president for the Youth League of traditional martial arts, Aikido Association of Sports for the center of Seoul, director Nuri Star Federation Secretary General of Volunteers on sharing volunteers group. His outstanding musical talent and sincere volunteer activities is leading to a good wind in the music industry and presenting a more deep sounding.
