National Integration Committee set sail
The National Integration Committee headed by Hangil Kim set sail on July 27 at the presidential office. Under the leadership of Kim, 24 committee members are gathered together to discuss on directions for national integration. President Yoon has emphasized importance of national integration before the inauguration as it was the key player for fulfilling his vision ‘Leap Again Korea, Live Well Together Korea’. The 24 committee members are highly experienced experts in their respective fields of planing, politics and region, economy and class, and society and culture. Hangil Kim said “National integration is our duty to fulfill for prosperity of our society and I feel a great responsibility. I and my 24 committee members will bring up down-to-earth implementation plans over just a talk.”
Yoon chaired King Jeongjo Warship launching ceremony
President Yoon chaired the King Jeongjo Warship KDX-III Bath-II launching ceremony held on July 28 in Ulsan. Around 150 government and industry officials attended the ceremony. In his congratulatory speech, Yoon showed his thanks and asked keep working hard with pride. Colonel Jeongsool Kim who is the captain of the warship and Hyundai Heavy Industry’s Eunji Lee who contributed greatly to the drying procedure of the warship joined the safety sailing ritual as representatives of the attendees. <PowerKorea>
