The 2022 Korea Brilliant People & Brand Awards was held at the Seoul Press Center on February 25 by Herald Corporation in association with monthly business and culture PowerKorea. Hosted by announcer Saeyoung Kim, the awards this year went to 38 companies, organizations and individuals out of about 300 applicants. 

Some of notable winners are as follows: Starbucks Korea, GS Retail, Nexia Samduk (accounting firm), Seocho Gran Xi (apartment), Dongdaemun Yupduk (food franchise), Paldo Hanmadang (theme park resort), Korea Park Golf, CU Reverse (floor heating), Come In Wash (car wash), Hanyoung Elevators, Daedong Foundation (NFT), Kiva Kids (meta edu), G-Sign (traffic sign), Deep Industry (mask), YeoyueGonggan (storage), Korea Lordland Academy, and Gwon Young Sook Gonggam Culture Forum. 

A holder of the Family Friendly Enterprise certificate issued from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, Starbucks Korea boasts largest number of disabled employees and 160 women from maternity leave have come back to work so far through excellent welfare and flexible working hours. The company also provides support for out of school youth to be independent and to grow their sociability. 

GS Retail, on the other hand, joined hands with 1,000 campaigners of BeautifulStore to upcyle used clothes and to give out environment educational kits to children. Also engaged in is the 9 Eco-friendly Missions that includes a vegetable meal a day and using public transport. <PowerKorea>
