“지금은 일하는 것이 가장 재미있어요. 고객들에게 예쁘고 건강하게 해 드리고 사업자들에게는 성공의 길을 가게끔 도와드리니 이 일보다 더 행복한 일은 없어요.(웃음) 그냥 성공은 없어요. 성공하지 못한 사람이 성공을 꿈꾼다면 ‘사고의 전환’이 필요합니다. 어려운 길은 피하고 쉽고 편한 길을 가려니 안 되는 거지요. 남들이 다 가는 길에는 내 길이 없습니다. 사업은 정면 돌파입니다. 안될 것 같아 보여도 부딪혀 보면 해결이 됩니다. 진정성을 갖고 긍정적으로 열심히 하면 반드시 이루어집니다” 판매가 수단이 아니라 그 사람이 어떤 사람이든 사람에 대한 소중함을 잃어버리면 안된다는 그녀는 인성을 갖춘 사업자가 되어야 성공을 꿈꿀 수 있다고 했다.
“일주일 내내 세미나 강의가 있고 그렇지 않은 시간은 팀원들 지원과 사람들을 만나는 일 때문에 바쁘지요. 사람들을 만나면 마음속에 희망과 소망이 굳건히 뿌리를 내려 신념을 가지고 사업에 몰입할 수 있게 도와드립니다. 생각하고 꿈꾸는 일에, 희망과 소망을 이루기 위해 모든 시간과 에너지를 사용하라고 조언을 하죠” 하루 24시간을 48시간처럼 사용하고 있다는 박규리 OS. 부지런히 열심히 하는 것을 실천하고 있는 그녀는 정말 시간이 없어 보였다.
이제 그녀는 제1의 도약과 성장으로 성공이라는 꿈을 이뤘다. 박규리 OS는 에스랜드 최초로 영업왕 자리인 OS 1호가 되었고 세일즈왕에 올랐다. 그녀는 최고의 영업 실적을 낸 사업의 리더가 되었다. 이제 박규리 OS는 제2의 성장과 도약을 준비하며 또 하나의 성공을 꿈꾸고 있었다.

S Land Ltd founded 2003 has grown with Park Kyu-ri OS who chose new challenge and beginning, and she has had hard time with the corporation. S Land has grown to a solid company specialized in distributing health care and diet products, by a long experience and the close partnership with production department. She said, “ It is the most interesting to do my job now. This is the happiest job.(laugh). Because I’m giving beauty and health to customers, the way to success to entrepreneurs. No pain no gain. If the people who couldn’t succeed dream success, they must have a complete change in attitude. You couldn’t succeed if you avoid a tough path and take the line of least of difficulty and resistance. There’s no road I can take in which every body takes.” She says that sales is not instrument and means, that the one who takes the road must not lose the importance of people, and that the only the entrepreneur with a good personality can dream of success.
“I give lectures in a seminar all week, during non-lecturing hours I’m busy in supporting team members and meeting some people.” She achieved her dream through her first advancement and growth. Park Kyu-ri OS became the first OS, the sales king, in her company. She became the leader of the business with her top sales figures. Now she is preparing to jump up to the second growth and advancement, dreaming another success. they are going to. 로버트 프로스트의 ‘가지 않은 길’ 선택한 박규리 OS
박규리 OS도 한 가정에서 아이들을 키우는 평범한 여성이었다. “2002년 일거에요. 아버지가 나이가 드셔서 아파트 경비 일을 하셨는데 어느 날 잔디밭에 들어가는 아이들을 보고 호루라기를 불고 계신 모습을 봤어요. 자식으로 그 모습을 보니 제 마음이 너무 아팠어요. 제가 부족해서 아버지를 고생시킨다는 생각이 들었죠. 이래서는 안되겠다 싶었고 우리가족과 가정을 일으킬 변화와 선택이 필요했어요. 그래서 2003년 에스랜드에 입사해 세일즈에 첫 발을 내디딘 것입니다”
누구나 그렇겠지만 그녀도 처음 험난한 과정의 연속이었다. 고객을 만나 상처를 받는 말도 들었고 무시당하는 일도 있었다. 그러나 그녀는 그녀의 꿈과 희망을 위해 포기하지 않았다. 그녀는 지금도 어려울 때 아버지가 불었던 호루라기를 꺼내보고 마음의 결심을 더 단단하게 움켜진다.
“고객과의 약속을 철저하게 지켰습니다. 고객과의 약속도 중요하지만 저 자신과의 약속이 더 중요했습니다. 단순히 제품 하나를 팔면 된다는 생각보다는 나 자신을 먼저 판다는 생각으로 고객에게 다가 가야 됩니다. 한 사람 한 사람에 대한 소중함을 잊지 않았고 저에 대한 믿음을 고객에게 심어주었죠. 그것은 곧 고객의 아름다움과 건강을 되찾게 해 주었고 저의 사업이 성장하게 한 밑거름이 됐습니다. 위기가 올 때는 기회가 된다고 믿었고 제가 하는 일에 대해 불평불만 보다는 항상 긍정적으로 생각했고 열심히 하니 행운도 따라 왔습니다”
이렇듯 그녀는 일에 대한 철학이 긍정적이고 진취적이었다. 어언 8년의 시간이 눈 깜작할 사이에 지나갔고 이제는 그녀가 이루고자 하는 꿈을 이루었다. 최근 억대연봉을 받는 여성 CEO로 화제가 돼 방송에도 나갔고 하루 24시간 동안 일어나는 영업의 노하우를 시간대 별로 나누어 정리한 『모든 꿈은 이루어진다』라는 책도 발행했다. 그 책에는 세일즈보다 더 중요한 사람들의 마음을 얻는 올바른 사고와, 계산보다 더 중요한 일에 대한 철학과 감성을 그녀의 경험을 바탕으로 소개했다.
“힘들기만 했던 인생을 제대로 한번 살아보고 싶은 사람들에게 에스랜드를 안내 해 드리고 싶어요. 그래서 어려웠던 분들이 성공하는 모습을 지켜보고 저와 함께 동반자로서 사회의 리더로 성장해 갈 것입니다. 이제 저는 제 2의 도약과 성장 그리고 또 다른 성공을 꿈꾸고 있습니다. 몇 년 후에는 노인들을 위한 복지 사업을 하고 싶고, 실버타운을 만들어 노인분들을 위해 봉사할동도 하고 싶어요. 또 하나의 꿈이죠. 저에게는”
“후배들에게 꼭 이런 말을 해요. 내가 처해 있는 척박한 환경을 탓하지 말고 내가 가고 있는 이 분야에서 최고가 되겠다는 생각으로 일에 빠져야 된다고. 내가 하는 일에 무한한 자부심을 가져보라고요. 로버트 프로스트의 시(詩) ‘가지 않은 길’처럼 누구나 쉽게 갈 수 있는 길을 택하는 것이 아니라 아무도 가지 않은 어렵고 험난한 길을 헤쳐 갈 때 성공이라는 보물을 손에 쥘 수 있고 성취감도 클 것입니다”
박규리 OS가 말한 로버트 프로스트의 ‘가지 않는 길’을 소개하면 다음과 같다.
“단풍 든 숲 속에 두 갈래 길이 있었습니다. 나는 두 길을 다 가지 못하는 것을 안타깝게 생각하면서 오랫동안 서서 한 길이 굽어 꺾여 내려간 데까지, 바라다 볼 수 있는 데까지 멀리 보았습니다. 그 길에는 풀이 더 있고 사람이 걸은 자취가 적어 아마 더 걸어야 될 길이라고 나는 생각했었던 게지요. <중략> 오랜 세월이 흐른 후에 나는 한숨지으며 이야기할 것입니다. 숲 속에는 두 갈래 길이 있었다고 나는 사람이 적게 간 길을 택하였다고 그리고 그것 때문에 모든 것이 달라졌다고”
에스랜드 박규리 OS. 그녀는 남들이 쉽게 ‘가지 않은 길’을 선택해 가장 성공한 여성 CEO가 되었고 2012년을 향해 또 하나의 꿈을 펼쳐 나아가고 있었다.

Park Kyu-ri OS was a common woman raising children. “It was in 2002. My father at that time was and worked as an apartment guard, one day I saw him blowing whistle to the children coming into the lawn. Seeing my father’s lonesome look was breaking my heart, since I was his daughter. I thought that my want of ability to do filial duty brought him to the job, that it wouldn’t do at all and I needed a change and a choice to raise up my family and home. And I entered the company “S Land”, took the first step towards the sales and success.”
The process of hard time continued, however, to her, in the nature of things for every body. When Meeting a customer, sometimes she was hurt by his words and sometimes she was ignored by him. But she didn’t give up for her dream and hope. She still gets the whistle, see it and gets a grip on herself, when having a hard time.
Eight years have passed, now she has realized the dream to achieve. She was on the air as the woman CEO, the talk of the town, taking hundreds of millions of Korean money. She published a book called『All Dreams Come True』written on the sales know-how by the time zone which happened for 24 hours. On the book, she introduced her know -how based on her experiences like this: the way of right thinking to gain other people’s heart which is more important than sales, the philosophy and sensitivity on working that are more important than calculation.
“I would like to conduct the people to S Land who want to change their lives fulfilled with a lot of difficulties into extraordinary ones. So I wish to watch them make it big, and I want them to be leaders in our society with me. An now I am dreaming of the second advancement and growth, and I’m dreaming of another success. In a few years, I want to run the welfare work for the elderly, build the silver town and do voluntary activities for the aged. It is the very another dream, for me.”
“I’m always saying to my juniors not to blame the poor environment in which they are now, but to be engrossed in their work to become the best in their field, and take great pride in their work. Like the poem『The Road not Taken』written by Robert Frost, not the road, the line of resistance, which everyone can easily walk along, but the road, a tough and difficult path nobody walks, through which you can achieve the success of treasure together with a great feeling of success.
Park Kyu-ri OS of the S Land, she selected the road which other people didn’t take, became the most successful woman CEO. And now she’s following her dreams.
