GS Retail publishes forth ‘Sustainability Report’

Korean retail giant GS Retail announced today that it has published its fourth Sustainability Report, which summarizes its sustainability performance and vision. On 24th last month, the company was decorated with the best AA grade at the Sustain Best ESG appraisal. The report includes its Environmental management, Social responsibility management, and transparent Governance (ESG). Accordingly, the company is increasing the number of eco-friendly products (232 kinds so far) and reducing power consumption through a data-based operation system. Its Smart-eye Energy Management System (SEMS) in particular has contributed to reducing power consumption by 10% on previous year.
