Making a tiny studio bulk up into two buildings and a cafe

Building Jinyoung Ssam CEO Kim Jin-young started real estate brokerage in 2009 and has successfully brokered the sale of various buildings including luxury villas and offices in Gangnam. She is famous for increasing the investor’s assets by bulking up the value of buildings through attention to detail planning and consulting accumulated over 13 years of her expertise in the field. It is not surprising for an efficiently hard worker like Kim spending more than 1 million won on transportation alone a month to gather information. She started in a small studio plat soon after marriage in her early 20s but is now an owner of two buildings in Mapo and Gangnam. She also recently opened a desert cafe So Seol Won in Mangwon-dong, Seoul.

Building Jinyoung Ssam has earned its reputation of all in one consulting that covers from financing and purchasing to renting, management and remodeling. Finding and buying worn-out buildings and reselling them after remodeling is but Kim’s expertise. So called this ‘value-up consulting’ finds under-valued houses and buildings with a goal to harvest 100% return (double the profit) of the total investment after remodeling. As to prove her ability, she has successfully reached the target in 16 cases of new construction, 8 cases of remodeling and another 8 cases of consignment operation. As a result, CEO Kim and her business partner husband have assisted around 100 people to be an owner of a building or two or more.

As often is the case, a success in property investment also requires a little bit or study or more. This was the reason that CEO Kim opened up Building Jinyoung Ssam Academy to provide necessary and helpful knowledge and tips on financing, building, remodeling and consignment operation. Throughout the curriculum, the ‘value up seminar’ offers methods and Kim’s 13 years of knowhow as well as up to date information. In addition to it, Kim gives each student a customized goal after in-depth meetings. The courses involve field trip for more realistic understanding of the theory they learned. “A set of class lasts 3 days. First day deals with theory, second day with field trip in Gangnam to see how a building is built, remodeled and rented, and third day is similar to the second day but covers outside of Gangnam.” explains Kim. All cases brought up in the class are directly invested or managed by Kim. For those who do not live in Seoul and around, Kim is running her Youtube channel. “I hope everyone will make a success in real estate investment and I will provide them the way to success.” says Kim.
