Larvae of protaetia brevitarsis seulensis reborns is a super food for future

According to Donguibogam and Bonchogangmok, larvae of protaetia brevitarsis seulensis is known to prevent hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, breast cancer, gout, stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes, and increase natural killer cell activity that destroys cancer cells. 

Based on the research results of Chungnam National University and Kyungpook National University, the Rural Development Administration recently announced that the larvae is a high-protein food with a low fat content of 18% and a high protein content of 58%, and they were found to contain large amounts of essential amino acids and nutrients that cannot be synthesized in vivo. 

Dr. Ryu Kang-sun of the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences proved in his paper that through animal experiments, it was found that a substance called ‘indole alkaloid’ extracted from these larvae is very effective in healing blood clots and improving blood circulation.

These larvae have been proven through several studies and papers that they are effective against diseases such as liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, stroke, heart disease, macular degeneration, cataract, and geriatric diseases, as well as tetanus and malignant tumors. 

These larvae are currently attracting attention as a result of a study that removes BACE1, an important causative agent of Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
