Best business environment

Equipped with complex infrastructure necessary for business

The Busan Jisa Global Industrial Complex is a global general industrial complex construction project implemented by Jisa Global Co., Ltd. and responsible for construction by GS Construction Co., Ltd. Located in Gangseo-gu, Busan, with a business area of about 416,199m², the project started in 2016 and is scheduled to be completed in 2023. The complex is the last industrial complex in West Busan regarded as an area with a complex infrastructure where residential and commercial areas are harmonized to improve the convenience of production activities. Last May, the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry analyzed key industries and signboard companies representing 16 districts and counties in the Busan region and released a report titled ‘Current Status of Key Industries and Companies by Region in Busan.’ According to the report, Gangseo-gu, where industrial complexes are concentrated, is home to Renault Korea Motors and Air Busan, which have high sales, making it the best location for companies to move in. Gangseo-gu is also one of the leading manufacturing mecca in Busan, with Mieum, Shinho, and Heojeon industrial complexes located around the Noksan National Industrial Complex. As the foundation ground of the site is made of rock, there is no additional cost due to the treatment of soft ground during factory construction, which significantly reduces construction costs. That is why many business owners are lining up to locate their manufacturing base in the area.

Eco Delta City and Gaduk-do new airport

Expected West Busan Medical Center and West Busan Administrative Town will play positive

The West Busan area is expected to see a medical center and an administrative town which will play positive to the Busan Jisa Global Industrial Complex. The Eco Delta City aims to be an ocean capital in the North East Asian region alongside increased functions in the southwest region through creating business clusters. In addition, port infra, logistics and transportation systems in the southwest region are under work alongside building ocean-related tourism facilities. Through this, the complex is expected to help enliven the cities and areas of decreasing population by building eco-friendly and resource-recycling future cities. The ongoing Gaduk-do new airport especially is secured for aviational safety and logistics which will disperse the capital-concentrated businesses and developments. The 24h-run 3,500 meter long runway is expected to play the gateway to the southern region of the peninsula. Other promising development projects around the complex include Myeongji International New Town, West Busan Converged Industrial Logistics Complex, Busan new airport-Gimhae highway, West Busan Medical Center and West Busan Administrative Town. An official of Busan Jisa Global Development says “Expected in-house companies include C25(metal processing), C27(medical, precision, optical and watches), C30(cars and trailers), C31(transportation equipment) and H52(warehouses and logistics). Other businesses can also apply through negotiation.”
