Musical <Human Court>
The musical <Human Court> is a sci-fi courtroom drama depicting the story of an android who murdered its owner standing in a human courtroom. It is a work based on the novel ‘Human Court’ by Jo Kwang-hee. Even before the premiere in Korea, <Human Court> drew attention by signing musical rights contracts in China, France, Germany, Belgium, and Sweden, one after another. The musical, opened with great expectations, provided the audience with deep immersion and thrill by adding interesting materials, tightly woven stories, and addictive melodies to the actors’ excellent acting and solid singing skills.
The LED display and augmented reality content stage and theater gave the audience the mysterious charm of being deeply sucked into the work in an instant.
Actors Park Min-seong, Lim Byung-geun, and Oh Jong-hyuk take on the role of ‘Ho Yun-pyo’, a lawyer specializing in protecting Android’s human rights and interests. Actors Lee Jae-hwan (VIXX), Yoo Tae-yang (SF9), Ryu Chan-yeol, and Choi Ha-ram take on the role of the android ‘Ao’, who will stand in court on charges of murdering his owner. Seo In-gu takes on the role of ‘Han Siro’, an ordinary office worker who is killed by his own android, and Seon Han-kook takes on the role of ‘Seo In-gu’, a lawyer who believes that non-human beings are not worthy of respect.
Lee Sang-ah and Lee Seo-young are to play the role of ‘Mina’, Han Shi-ro’s lover, and ‘counselor’, who helps Ao’s adaptation.
