Samsung Electronics releases 3 nano foundry products
Samsung Electronics held the 3 nano foundry products release ceremony at the V1 Line Hwangseong Campus on July 25. The 3 nano foundry products are applied with GAA (Gate All Around) technology. Around 100 government and industry officials attended on the day. The foundry team presented their determination to lead the global foundry industry with innovative technologies. The team's assistant head Kitae Jeong gave a presentation on the production procedure that involves cooperation between the foundry, semiconductor and global manufacturing and infrastructure divisions. "The development of GAA technology is but a remarkable achievement especially when the fin-FET transistor has reached its technological limit." said the DS division head Kaeheon Keong. Trade, Industry and Energy Minister Changyang Lee said "I ask Samsung and parts and materials companies here today to work together as the government will also provide necessary support." Samsung Electronics started GAA Transistor research in early 2000 and succeeded world's first GAA-applied 3 nano foundry products.
Samsung Electronics loads 20 epoch-making photographs in The Frame
Samsung Electronics introduced 20 epoch-making photographs of the 20th century in its lifestyle TV The Frame. For this, the company partnershiped with LIFE Picture Collection and opened through The Frame subscription platform Artstore. The 20 photos are a collection of 20 renowned photos featured on the magazine LIFE that includes Pablo Picasso and Marilyn Monroe.
