Hong visits Hanil Cement 

Economy and Finance Minister Namki Hong paid a visit to Hanil Cement factory in Danyang County on April 28. The visit was made amid price rise of construction materials to check supply and demand alongside encouragement to staff. While being briefed, Hong toured the production lines of limestone, cement mill and silo. Hong said that he would explore reasonable means of maintaining the production stable such as support for diversifying material import channels, prompt customs clearance, and production facilities and transport. Hanil Cement started up business in 1961 and the production facilities in Danyang takes around 12% of the whole cement production in the nation as of 2021 producing yearly 7.13 million tons. 

Lee visits Heyground

Economy and Finance Deputy Minister Oakwon Lee paid a visit to  Heyground on April 28. Heyground is the nation's first shared office space for social enterprises and ventures such as noul that made for KOSDAQ on recognition of excellent social and technological innovation. On the day, Lee emphasized the role of Heyground in this time where creating social value and market competitiveness are becoming more important than ever. He said that social ventures are leading the new social economy business models through more awareness on environment, society, technology and impact investment. He added that the government had focused its support on finance (around 300 billion won ($236 million)) and public purchase from which they drew more than 50% increase in employment. He added that the government would also give more focus on building business infrastructure for social and venture enterprises. <PowerKorea>
