Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the core technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution. AI has been marching forward with human brain-like learning ability and it is already being used in many devices and gadgets whether we are aware of it or not.

Knowing the importance, South Korean government has been running ICT Innovation Square project with a goal to foster more than 30,000 AI and SW experts. And Korea Polytechnics Asan of the Chuncheong ICT Complex is the leading vocational college of this project in the Chungcheong Province and is running customized programs for future technologies such as AI and blockchain through both offline and realtime online classes.

Starting with 373 students who successfully completed the courses with 124% achievement rate in 2020, the number increased to 481 with 110% achievement rate the next year. As of May 2022, the rate so far is around 17% which is noteworthy.

Korea Polytechnics Asan is opening and running the courses for AI and blockchain. AI includes fields of semiconductor automation, car parts automation, manufacturing automation, building smart factory, AI development, AI operation, AI learning models, AJ analysis and big data analysis. Blockchain includes fields of e-document distribution and application and blockchain application developer.
