Hyundai Motor's hydrogen electric bus Elec City FCEV is to run roads and streets in Austria through local public transportation company Wiener Linien, announced by an official of Hyundai on February 27. The bus can be able to run up to 550 kilometers at one charge. Austria is working on HyBus Project to lead nation's hydrogen industry and it is meaningful that Hyundai's hydrogen technology is recognized by the government according to a company official. 

Hyundai and Shell join hands for carbon neutrality

Hyundai and Shell signed a memorandum of understanding for carbon neutrality announced by an official of Hyundai on February 25. The cooperation will include EV charging, low carbon energy solutions, hydrogen and digital. Hyundai is to use gas stations of Shell in South East Asia to promote its electric and hydrogen vehicles. Shell is running around 45,000 gas stations in 80 countries and is number one in the field. Hyundai and Shell have set up a goal to turn global power generation facilities to 100% renewable energy by 2045. Prior to this, Hyundai HMNA and Shell signed a business agreement to build 48 hydrogen charging stations in California, US, last October. <PowerKorea>
