Turnup Waxing CEO Jieun Han boasts first grade trichologist certificate, first, second and third grade waxing certificates alongside numerous skin, aroma therapy and foot reflection therapy certificates as well as U.S. NIC. She was trained at Christine Valmy International School of Esthetic, New York and successfully completed Dale Carnegie CEO Course. Gathering her knowledge and experience in the field, she set sail Turnup Waxing in 2015. She is serving a number of important roles including a judge at various beauty skills contests alongside giving lectures at various cultural centers at the moment.

[What Makes It Special?]
Turnup Waxing provides customized one on one waxing services that cover all parts of body for both men and women. The industry proved premium LYCON and RICA waxing products guarantee safety while all processes strictly follow health and hygiene rules. The 'one waxing kit per customer' rule is strictly applied alongside disposable gloves, a bed cover, a gown and a tweezer. Once used spatula goes into the bin and the skin soothing care after the process is Ministry of Food and Drug Safety approved. The aqua bed especially makes the client super comfortable during the waxing while the lavender sheet and calm music ease the tension. Within 7 months of business opening, the shop bulked up 165 square meter big from mere 33 square meter. Within 2 years, CEO Han bought the building and also opened the Turnup Education Center. She started franchise January this year in earnest and is expecting to a new shop in Baegot in addition to already running shops in Jeongwangdong and Songsan.

The Turnup Education Center is the first salon-based waxing training center in Ansan City according to Han. The center runs waxing, eye lash extension, semi-permanent makeup and skincare courses alongside startup consulting. All courses are either one on one-based or limited in number for maximum results and all instructors boast years of experience in the field not to mention knowledge and certificates. The startup consulting equips students with necessary skills in setting up a business, running a shop and marketing. As an approved certificate issuing body, the center issues diplomas for those who successfully passed the courses and tests and more than 90% certificate holders make their way to opening a business.
