Nestled in Magok, Gangseo District, Seoul, RNTedu is a kids English school for children aged 5 to 13. RNTedu's teaching methods and programs are recognized for its realistic approach and usage of the English being used by native speakers in every day life. Rather than pick a sentence or a certain expression from a textbook, RNTedu exposes children to a certain situation where native speakers use certain phrases. This way, says Sujin Im, Director of RNTedu, children can naturally catch the feeling of a certain phrase as they picture the situation in their head at the same time.

"When these practices are repeated over and over again, children can be able to speak the phrases without themselves knowing they are doing it."

Im points out that she knows how a child can learn and make progress by carefully observing the habit and pattern. This is very important because a customized content and method for each child comes from this observing and analysis. She also points out importance of motivating children by setting up a goal or target. As a long time entrance exam expert, Im knows very well of the big difference between the self-motivated and the forced-to-study in results they achieve. For this reason, she encourages parents to motivate their children with a goal, a target or a dream to achieve.

"What children need is the confidence in them rather than winning the competition because life is a long term marathon not a short fight. Building self confidence makes them grow strong inner motivation and power and this is what our teaching methods and programs at RNTedu endeavors to give."

For the same reason, Im and her excellent staff engage in activities of children like they are their friends. They play together, walk around the town hand in hand and speak in English which arouses interest of other children and parents. <PowerKorea>
