Guri City Council Vice Chairman Yeonok Im is received as a woman of wide experience and of delicate and friendly in character. She listens attentively to citizens and put their opinions into practice. She dresses simply and works hard. She has enacted, or revised, 25 ordinances, engaged in 26 joint ordinances and in particular contributed to securing shared parking lots to solve the city’s parking problem. The ordinances she enacted, or revised, include circulating local money and vouchers, effective use of public land, fines for illegal use of public land, effective tax management, private participation to civil affairs, better budgeting and allocating, better safety measures for construction, better village management (that includes security patrol, house repair and alley improvement), promotion of environment-conscious education and facilities, promotion of innovative educational support, and healthier school meals.
