(PowerKorea) Samsung and Q-Cells signed a MOU to build zero energy home July 2 at the Q-Cells (Hanwha) headquarters in Jung District Seoul. Zero energy home goals to reduce carbon emission through efficient use of energy generated by the sunlight at home. The cooperation will be initiated in the US and Europe where people’s interest in eco-friendly energy is high. Q-Cells generates electricity through Energy Storage System and Samsung helps home owners use the electricity efficiently through its SamrtThings Energy and Eco Heating System to create synergy. Global energy research and consultancy group Wood Mackenzie reported that Q-Cells had the largest market share in home solar energy modules market in the US between 2018 and 2020. Samsung signed a deal with British real estate developer Etopia to supply EHS heat pump connected to SmartThings to 6,000 eco-friendly houses for the next 5 years.

Samsung releases Isocell Auto 4AC

Samsung released Isocell Auto 4AC that helps drivers check what is happening outside of the car through its surrounded view monitor and rear view camera. CornerPixel technology loaded removes the blind spots of the car during the driving by providing information to the driver. CornerPixel is innovative as it recognizes objects both in the day and at night including tunnels and underground parking lots. It shows clear 120dB HDR images with no motion artifact and with eased LED Flicker. AEC-Q100 (Automotive Electronics Council-Q100) obtained Isocell Auto 4AC works down to minus 40 degree Celsius and up to 125 degree Celsius.
