(PowerKorea) Ministry of Education set sail the Education Big Date Committee to answer demand for digital education platforms and systems. The committee is consisted of 21 industry experts with Minister Yoo Eun-hye as the co-chairwoman and Seoul National University professor Cha Sang-gyun as the private panel chairman. At the first meeting held at the Seoul Post Tower on July 9, members exchanged information on current status of educational bid data and future directions. The subjects discussed on the day included related laws, activation plans, data quality management and governance. 

Yoo hears opinions of people for future direction of education

Education Minister Yoo Eun-hye is gathering opinions of the people through open forums and discussions to build Education Staff Development Plan. Four times of public debate are to be held with all time running online public opinions for everybody to participate. The first session is held on July 16 online due to the increased number of the infected cases, the third session in subject by subject and the last session as an open public hearing. Those who wish to make a voice can participate either online and offline by leaving a comment or participate in real time discussion online. The opinions gathered will be reflected to the draft of the Education Staff Development Plan.
