(PowerKorea) Evergreen Farm is a South Korean quail farm that supplies ecofriendly grown protein, essential amino acid and vitamin A, B1 and B2-rich quail eggs to the market. CEO Hong Ki-chang opened a quail farm in Kimpo in 1998 and relocated it to Ganghwa County in 2007. 

He established Evergreen Farm in 2011, obtained an ecofriendly agricultural product certificate in 2012 and opened an automated processing factory and received HACCP in 2018. Other certificates he obtained are antibiotic free ecofriendly certificate and 6th industry certificate. In 2019, he successfully registered Evergreen Farm FR to the FDA US.

“I’m a father and I make quail egg products like they are eaten by my family. I strictly manage the whole growing and making processes and quails are fed by antibiotic free feed and nine time grilled bamboo salt” says Hong.

The products of Evergreen Farm are being supplied to Shinsegae department store, Galleria department store and SaveZone at the moment. Quail eggs are rich in vitamin A, essential amino acid and lecithin and it strengthens immunity system, prevents adult diseases and helps brighten eyesight. 

Apart from quail egg products, CEO Hong takes his quails and eggs to nurseries, kindergartens and schools for children to see, feed and observe the birds time to time. He has carried on this quail activity for 50 educational institutes and is planning to build an activity zone in the distribution center to invite both children and parents to have an educationally good time. 

As a man of generous heart, Hong donates to Red Cross Incheon every month and sends soy source braised quail eggs to old people living alone for free on a regular basis. 

“Because of the pandemic, I’m having difficulty to export the products overseas. But I’m determined to supply excellent Korean quail eggs to the world starting from the Middle East. It will take time and I will make a push slowly yet strongly. It is my goal to grow Evergreen Farm to be a representative quail egg producer in the nation” says Hong.
