The NHK showed a great interest in this result and people started to call it as mysterious mushroom. Other medical actions of flower mushroom include blood circulation, recovery of living tissue and hematopoiesis, and antioxidant.

Hwajeong Bio & Food is a South Korean flower mushroom cultivator located in Uiryeong County. CEO Chae Gwang-heon started studying of this mysterious mushroom in 2006 and started the cultivation in 2017.

“Flower mushroom is not strong in scent and gives a fresh and chewy taste. It is a good addition to any type of food including salad and juice and the lifespan is relatively longer than other mushrooms when kept in the fridge. You can also put 5 to 10g of powdered flower mushroom into a 2L water to boil around 30 minutes to drink if you have constipation” says Chae.

Alongside flower mushroom, Chae is using brown rice, rice bran and beans to make various healthy foods. He feels proud whenever he hears people saying that they have experienced improvement by eating enzyme of flower mushroom and this is the driving force of his business he says.
