The English school Promiseedu received the National Assembly Education Committee chairman’s prize at the 2021 Korea Education Industrial Awards held by Herald Corporation and monthly PowerKorea for excellence in teaching methods and fulfillment of corporate social responsibility.

Promiseedu opened its doors in 2011 and has grown to run 5 directly managed campuses in the capital region: two Mok-dong Miracle and Sky campuses and Gangseo Global campus, Mapo Able campus, and Gwangmyeong Dream campus.

Its innovative teaching methods are designed specifically for elementary and middle school students who will through the guidance to build vocabulary, grammar, reading, listening, speaking, essay writing and presentation skills.

Essay writing in particular is enhanced by its unique brain storming method while presentation is refined by its wowing 7 level speech method. Each area is organically linked to maximize the effect and the 12 phase elementary and the 7 phase middle school course-works, alongside the after-class commentary, gradually strengthen students' competence in English. It is notable that Promiseedu has published 20 vocabulary books, 9 grammar books, 9 reading books and 6 writing books that can go along well with the formal education courses.

With the spread of the recent COVID-19 in the early 2020, Promiseedu has moved quickly with online learning platforms and contents to keep up the pace. Its User-Created Contest, alternative to the Promise Speaking Contest, held August last year in particular, received explosive participation from students through online. Also, YS Education Consulting, an affiliate of Promiseedu, has quenched students’ thirst, as well as parents’, for up to date analysis on entrance exam trend.

Experts who have more than 7 years of experience at each respective education research headquarters are always busy brining up better teaching materials and contents through attention to detail research and development. More than 40 kinds of books and intellectual property rights are registered.

In order to fulfil corporate social responsibility, Promiseedu has been donating to local charities including free lessons to students in need. Alongside, Promiseedu has been playing a role as a local school operating committee member to improve teaching methods and systems as well as career consulting and social activities. Promiseedu director Hong Hyun-min is serving as a deputy head of the Korean Private Education Research Council where advancement of South Korea’s private education systems are being discussed and implemented.

Boasting more than 2,000 elementary and middle school students who are continuously proving their excellence with remarkable results, the name Promiseedu is well received and recognized by students, parents and industry experts alike. The sales jumped to 7 billion won (6.1 million USD) last year from mere 1.4 billion won in 2013. With the proudly winning the National Assembly Education Committee chairman’s prize, Promiseedu is ready to fly higher in the year 2021.
