South Korea introduced the Regional ICT Innovation Square project in March 2021 to promote regional economy through new and strategic industries such as artificial intelligence and its convergence with other future technologies. 

Korea Polytechnics Asan made its strong presence in the field with the Chungcheong ICT Complex as the South Chungcheong Center last year and continued its capability by being designated for the Regional ICT Innovation Square project this year. 

The ICT Complex is focused on equipment, infrastructure, technology seminar and innovative ideas as well as block chain, AI and its training, curriculum development and manpower fostering.

The excellent programs Korea Polytechnics Asan has brought up for the Regional ICT Innovation Square project this year are as follows: smart factory-based AI analysis and use (semiconductor, car parts and display), fostering data specialists, block chain technique and its language, electronic document distribution and application.
