One thing COVID-19 has changed the way we walk through a building in and out is that we must put a mask and sanitize both hands. While many buildings are furnishing hand sanitizer bottles on the entrance, a South Korean walk-through sanitizing gate 'Puri Fotal' makes visitors simply just walk through the gate for the whole body to be sanitized automatically.

Digitalgreen, the company that made Puri Fotal, was established March 2020 by a team of experts in semiconductor, chemicals and electronic engineering. Formerly carried on research and development on harmful chemical substances purifying equipment, the pandemic encouraged the team to turn their course to bringing a better solution for people to pass the entrance of a building.

Puri Fotal is loaded with cutting edge parts: UV lamp modules, high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters, motion detecting sensors, thermovision cameras, quarantine monitors, air circulating pumps, and hypochlorous acid (HOCL). The gate checks temperature of visitors and alarms the bell, checks the QR code, sanitizes the whole body and kills virus. It is 2.5m (8.2ft) high and 1.7m width but the size can be customized according to needs and wants. It is safety approved by the South Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and the US Food and Drug Administration as well as the EU.

Apart from innovative Puri Fotal, Digitalgreen introduced an air purifier 'Purifall'. It also has passed numerous necessary health and safety tests and obtained KC and CE marks alongside approvals by South Korean, US and European testing bodies. Loaded with UV filters, Purifall kills virus. Also loaded with semi-permanent UV LED and 6 month long filters, Purifall not only purifies air but can be turned into a humidifier when the air is clean.

Digitalgreen's micro-mist technology, applied to Puri Fotal and Purifall, is well received for excellence in purifying air and killing harmful germs by spraying the mist-size particles that people with glasses cannot even notice.

Also introduced by Digitalgreen is 'Purifall M' designed to sanitize public transportation. Once installed, it automatically carries out sanitization of the empty buses and subway trains, and un-installed before the start of the running. It costs only 100 won (0.09 USD) for a 5 hour sanitization and it does not requires a single manpower. Purifall M is marked with 4 patents and 3 technology certifications.

An official of Digitalgreen said that they were being in a process for public transport quarantine with a UK company while also in a process of sharing technology and export of the Puri-series with a German chemical sensing company Solid Sense. PowerKorea
