In order to be a member of the Honor Society, one must donate 100 million won (91,911 USD) to people in need. Go Sam-sook, CEO of a South Korean pickled fish company Gooldari Food, joined the society in April 2020 by donating 20 million won to low income families in Asan City for the last 5 years. Alongside the financial support, she has given out 100 sets of salted seafood, 100 bags of rice, and daily necessities to the disabled.

Go and her husband Kim Jeong-bae both are holders of master's certificate in traditional food and pickled fish and obtained doctoral degrees in business administration at Soonchunhyang University. Kim's parents (deceased) built a 50 meter long underground tunnel to keep and ripen pickled fish perfectly and the couple make the products the way they did.

Pickled fish has been loved by many Koreans alongside other fermented food such as kimchi, soy bean paste and soy sauce. But its saltiness once brought it to a sharp sales drop when the wellbeing trend swept the nation. Rather than closing the business, Kim and Go counter- attacked the market with low-salted while the very taste intact. The 60 year old underground tunnel keeps the temperature between 11 and 13¡É at all times which are the ideal for the very traditional taste and quality.

Gooldari Food pickled fish currently is being sold at a number of Hyundai Department Store and Lotte Department Store as well as online shopping malls including Kurly, Wemakeprice and 11st.

Gooldari Food obtained HACCP and Good Store in 2014 and has obtained 12 patents. All products are artificial flavor-free and this 80 year old principle brought the company to a ministerial prize from the Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Ministry at the 6th LOHASia in 2017 and to a presidential citation from the Oceans and Fisheries Ministry in 2019.
