Park golf is a form of golf played in a park. It was invented in Japan in 1983 and around 4 million Japanese are reported to play the game today.

In South Korea, the first standardized park golf course was built on the Han River bank of Yeouido, Seoul in 2004. As of January 2021, about 300 park golf courses are running nationwide with 50 new courses being added yearly. This is partly linked to increasing number of the aged people who spend their leisurely time in playing.

Most park golf goods were imported from Japan before Korea Park Golf succeeded localizing the goods in late 2019. Despite being a second mover, Korea Park Golf has secured quality of the goods shoulder to shoulder with the Japanese but the price gained a decisive competitive edge by 50% cheaper than the imported.

After obtaining two patents in head and shaft, Korea Park Golf introduced the club Phoenix with model names K-01, K-03, K-5, K-07 and Gobble G. All products are made with high elastic but light carbon fiber and wood at a factory in Daegu City. The head sole is 5mm thick which is twice than the similar ones on the market to lower the center of gravity and to steady the vibration of the hands.

Korea Park Golf''s fluorescent balls especially made the night play more visible and speedy and other products such as bags, pouches, head covers and gloves are also received positive reviews. It is noteworthy that maintenance services are done promptly within 3 to 4 days while the Japanese products take around 1 to 2 months.

Korea Park Golf received the SMEs and Startups Minister's prize at the Innovation Winner 2020 for localizing park golf goods. PowerKorea → powering Korean business to the world!
