Yeoju City is to see Yeoju Patio Field in April 2022. It will serve as city's traditional cultural park combined with 7 themed halls representing provinces in South Korea: Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Chungcheong, Gyeongsang, Jeolla and Jeju including a North Korean hall. Each hall invites local specialities from food to handicrafts while dry sauna, concert hall and convention facilities hold a variety of events throughout the year. 

The dry sauna will boast 4,000 square meter in size on the first and second floors and the concert hall accommodates 340 audiences for traditional Korean music and martial arts and many more. The convention hall is open for everybody to hold seminar, workshop and wedding. 

Also notable is adventure centers on the first floor, climbing and free fall on the second floor, VR and AR activity rooms and kids cafe on the first basement,  spacecraft activity on the second basement, large parking lot on the third basement and commercial facilities on the fourth basement. Hotel Residence linked to the field has 125 rooms and flows hot spring water. 

The driving force of Yeoju Patio Field is Paldo Hanmadang led by CEO Lee Ki-chul. The company won the 2020 Korea National Social Contribution Awards in the traditional culture them park, 2020 Korea Consumer Satisfaction Brand Index in the culture and leisure, and 2020 Future Creative Superior Company in the converged theme park. 

Yeoju Patio Field has easy access to Shinsegae Premium Outlets, Haesley Nine Bridges CC, Yeoju Pet Park and the 8 Best Spots of Yeoju. It takes an hour from Pangyo to Yeoju on Gyeonggang Line, 1 and a half hours from Pyeongtaek Harbor to directly Yeoju Patio Field, and 7 highways take you conveniently to this newly built holiday destination. 

Paldo Hanmadang CEO Lee Ki-chul is expecting around 20 million visitors a year which will make it one of the hottest places in Yeoju City when completed. 

"It will give a new level of resting and entertainment to the people tired of social distancing due to the pandemic when opened in 2022. I'm ambitious to make this place not only a holiday destination but also a hub to learn and taste unique Korean culture and food" says Lee.
