President Moon attended on-screen G20 Summit held on November 21 under the theme 'opportunities for all in the 21st century'. The 19 members alongside EU, 8 invited nations and 9 international organizations attended during the 2 days summit. 

Moon made speech on tackling the pandemic and recovery of jobs and growth. He praised the effort of the world in stabilizing health and economy, launch of ACT-A, expandable fiscal policies and the extension of the low-income countries' debt repayment. 

He emphasized importance of sharing the vaccines, supported the endeavor of the World Health Organization and the International Vaccine Institute, and promised that South Korea closely work together. 

He also briefly introduced South Korea's four times of financial commitments and ongoing investment in digital new deal, green new deal and regional new deal. 

Ibn Saud, King of Saudi Arabia, the chair country of the summit, said in his speech that we would work together to overcome the pandemic and to build a firm international cooperation, adding that, the summit should draw substantial results that can shed the light of hope to the citizens of the world. 

At an after event organized by the King of Saudi Arabia, Moon and 6 leaders of the nations including France and Germany shared excellence of K-Quarantine and Moon pointed out openness, transparency and democratic execution as the three key players of South Korea's successfully containing the virus. 

On the second day of the summit on 22, Moon made speech themed on future through inclusiveness, sustainability and recovery. The second day session focused more on climate change and leaders shared the same view on the need to reduce carbon emission. 

Moon showed his firm will on the 2050 carbon neutrality plan and emphasized that it would be possible only through cooperation with the world, adding that, that was why South Korea's green new deal has become one of the three key future policies alongside digital new deal and regional new deal.

Moon said that South Korea would share its results and experience with the world, play the role to bridge the developed and the developing, and support for the Green Climate Fund and the Global Green Growth Institute. 

He mentioned that the P4G Seoul Summit was held next year which would be the steppingstone for the P4G London Summit the following year and he asked the member countries' proactive support.

Moon closed his speech that the world was facing the unprecedented crisis from the pandemic and the climate change and nothing could bring change to this but only the cooperation of the world. 

The G20 Summit declaration stated this broad cooperation in various fields and it is notable that the Moon's suggestion for essential personnels to travel even in times of the pandemic.
