A survey of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Minister shows that 7 out of 10 return-to-farm households have connections in the region or experience at least. The reason of returning scored high in environment and commercial potential and the reason of failure scored high in lack of preparation and physically demanding labor. If you are considering a returning to farm, you might earn a tip or two from Nature Smart Farm specialized in cutting edge ginseng growing system and installation.

Located in Yangpyeong County, Nature Smart Farm is offering integrated returning to farm system that can cover from securing government fund to managing a farm.

“The system actually covers even sales and distribution as well as parceling out solar energy country houses for returners to conveniently settle down in their desired region. Specialists at Nature Smart Farm has analyzed the reason of failure and brought up the measures into our cutting edge system to significantly reduce the failure rate” explains CEO Jeon Sook-ki.

“The system is almost like startup instead of returning to farm thanks to its all-in-one management. I believe it will take off fear of inexperience and failure with comprehensive easy operation and promising profit models. They can borrow up to 300 million won (253,000 USD) of agricultural startup fund and up to 75 million won of solar energy house loan. The steady income can mainly be generated from ginseng root cultivation and parceling out of solar energy house.”

Ginseng is known to be good for recovery of fatigue and prevention of various diseases. The ginseng roots used at Nature Smart Farm are more than 100 years old and are cultivated through supplying necessary nutrients such as oxygen, sugar content and vitamins. The method copies the DNA of ginseng which shows 99% precision in contents of real wild ginseng.

“The core technology on this method is to cut off any germs getting into the root cultivation or being contaminated. The ripening container is made of PC material which endures 120 degree Celsius temperature and enables boiling water disinfection and sterilization. The nozzle and filter on the lid also are designed to prevent harmful substances getting into the container.”

A 1kg ginseng from 40 to 60 day cultivation can generate around 100,000 won profit. A 100 square meter room, for example, can cultivate 800 to 900kg and no labor cost needed. Where to sell the ginseng? Nature Smart Farm buys it all.

“Cultivated ginseng can be made into various spinoff products. It means we can make profits from a variety of products. I believe the prospect is promising and Nature Smart Farm is here to grow with passionate agricultural startups.”
