Many of those who travel to Hadong point out Jiri Mountain, Seomjin River, jaecheop soup, pine needled Korean beef and above all the breathtaking Hallyeohaesang National Park. Recently, they added one more attraction of the must visit: Hadong Alps Resort.
Hadong Alps Resort boasts the Asia’s longest zip-wire alongside a variety of leports (leisure + sports) facilities and programs: big swing, power fan, quick jump and VR game.
The 3,186km long double lined zip-wire gives you a 5 minute thrill driving you from peak to peak of mountain at the maximum speed of 120km per hour.
The 24m high big swing is a two-in-one swing of the Viking and bungee jump.
The power fan takes you ups and downs with a halt in the middle especially at the 12m point, the height we feel freaked out the most.
The VR game takes you a battle field, a rollercoaster and a flying jet.
“The zip-wire was shipped from Austrian Engineering-Mechatronics GmbH and it is loaded with South Korea’s first automated departure and arrival control system. One cannot be more excited with a variety of thrilling experiences at Hadong Alps Resort and zip-wire alone has attracted nearby 100,000 riders already. So I highly recommend you to book a ticket in advance in order to avoid waiting” says Hadong Alps Resort chairman Jo Sung-jae.
Note, a reservation is a must due to the virus situation for limited number of riders on zip-wire per time.
