¡ã Kiri Hanwu / CEO Park

Korea beef is loved by many for super tenderness, eye-popping marveling and juicy watering despite its relatively expensive price when compared to the imported. If you are a lover of Korean beef but have it occasionally due to the price, try Kiri Hanwu restaurant located in Dogok-ri, Wabu-eup, Namyangju City, a 20 minute eastward drive from western Seoul.

Opened six years ago, Kiri Hanwu's excellent taste and good price has spread steadily from mouth to mouth. Although many people often say that vegetables are healthier than meat, the Korean ancient medicine book Dongui Bobam records it stimulates energy and blood circulation and helps recovery of fatigue and is rich in vitamin, iron and zinc.

A 500g first grade Korean beef costs only 57,000 won ($48) and a 500g assorted plate 60,000 won. The reason it is cheaper than the market is because the beef is directly supplied from farmers without the middleman.

In fact, CEO Park himself is raising 150 cattle on a 1,983 square meter farm. He also makes TMF fertilizer mixed with the bioactive fluid of the Japanese 'review farming methods'. It is notable that the beef used at the restaurant are from heifer, a young female cow that has not become a calf. Other ingredients for side dishes are also super high quality from pepper powder to soy bean paste and rice.

Now you know this, you might be patient enough to wait in line for a while to get seated during the meal time.

CEO Park has been donating his Korean beef to people in need for many years and he once donated 10 million won ($8,394) to the Korean Beef Association in an effort to participate in the government campaign to tackle COVID-19.

He has served as a board director of NongHyup Dogok-ri, the president of the Agricultural Enterprisers Namyangju and the vice president of the Korean Beef Association. He received prizes from Gyeonggi Provincial Governor and Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Minister.

He majored in dairy farming at Korea National College of Agriculture and Fisheries and finished the agriculture management master's course at Sungkyunkwan University.
