Solo Living listed in 2020 Korea Future Management Awards in home furniture

Increasing number of people living alone in South Korea is creating a boom in minimalist lifestyle. Goods are produced simple with must-necessary functions to suit their life style. Singlers tend to possess less, spend less and throw away less. Coincided with the virus spread, this new trend also is accelerating untack market armed with good value for money. 

Solo Living

Launched with moto 'furniture designed for singlers', Solo Living has seen a significant jump in sales within a year. CEO Lee Byeong-jae ascribes his success to thorough analysis on lifestyle of singlers and excellent customer services. 

"I gather needs and wants of singlers as well as reviews good or bad and reflect them into actual design. And it is not a every-now-and-then event but a system that runs on a regular basis. This way, I can keep up the latest trend in the market" said Lee.

Solo Living's untact services and good value for money also take part. The company focused on efficiency and convenience design-wise while minimized the price by direct production and delivery without the middleman. 

"Solo Living is South Korea's first furniture brand designed for singlers. The company has made differentiation in design, efficiency and good value for money and we are ambitious to grow our business as the leader of the market."

The storage microwave cabinet, for example, is designed to put various other kitchen utensils or cooking appliances together. Taking the momentum, Solo Living is working to form partnership with pet goods businesses and preparing to introduce unique pet furniture lines. 

Winning 2020 Korea Future Management Awards in home furniture

In recognition of its excellence and contribution to the newly emerging industry, Solo Living received the 2020 Korea Future Management Awards in the home furniture.

CEO Lee ascribes the winning to Solo Living's differentiation in good value for money, customized design, efficiency and convenience. 

"It is my goal to grow Solo Living like Korean Ikea where people can buy home furniture from a convenient store."
