President Moon attended July 2 the special ceremony organized to promote the Korea Together Sales. Held from June 26 to July 12, the Korea Together Sales focuses on selling products of small business owners.
"Both home and overseas demands are weak at the moment. The Korea Together Sales is to encourage people to buy products from small business owners who are hit hard by the virus and struggling to survive. For this, the government already gave out emergency support fund" said Moon.
He pointed out "Saving was regarded as virtue in the past. The economic situation has turned spending is virtue now."
Moon was introduced eight products which were a sterilizer drier, nutrition snack, clothes, agricultural package, fruit, cosmetics, massager and bag and exchanged questions and answers.
Moon and Kim explore national treasures
President Moon and First Lady Kim explored the displays exhibited at the National Museum of Korea under the title 'The New National Treasures'. The museum closed the door from May this year due to the virus and reopened from July 22. Moon and Kim and all other attendees and visitors went through temperature check, mask check and hand sanitizing.
The exhibition guide Kang Gyeong-nam guided Moon and Kim and explained that 83 out of 157 national treasures designated between 2017 and 2019 were displayed at the exhibition, and started the tour with Samguk Sagi and Samguk Yusa, adding that we might have no way to know about the birth myth of our nation without the books. The exhibition lasts until September 27.
