Padlio is a South Korean furniture brand. CEO Yoo Jae-dong has 30 years of experience in the timber industry and is second to known when it comes to everything about timber. Recently launching Padlio as an exclusive wood slab of his company Sanhwa Timber, he borrowed the word padre for father and figlio for son, thus Padlio, to mean 'the furniture passed down from father to son'.

Twist and deformed are taken seriously when it comes to wood slab. For this reason, Yoo uses compressed vacuum high frequency dry method: the rubber pad in upper part presses the wood with high compression to dry so that the wood slab does not twist or bend. But its application varies kind to kind and weather to weather and it sometimes takes 5 years for a wood slab fully dried. 

All timbers used for Padlio are the best quality possible and each product comes with a unique digits and information on dry method, date of the dry and details of painting. Species of trees used are zelkova, bubinga, wallnut, zebra, afromosha and wenji.
