“One that touches hearts of audience is what proves the lecturer sincere and professional” says Yoo Kyoung-cheol, CEO of Communication & Empathy. As a veteran lecturer of leadership, Yoo has published a number of well received books: <I Am a Team Leader>, <Perfection of Communication>, <Problem Solver> and <Retweet of Peter Drucker>. 

Vertical organizational culture still remains in many parts of Korean society while the country is one of the leaders of cutting edge technologies. It might seem irony that Yoo, who was discharged as a lieutenant, talks about importance of communication and empathy in realizing a true leadership in a sense of horizontal relations. 

Yoo has drawn a bond of sympathy from audience whether it was at Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor, SK Group, LG Academy, CJ HumanVille, National Human Resources Development Institute or Seoul National University. Many CEOs of organizations were touched by his passionate and down-to-earth lectures and that listed his name in star lecturers group. 

“Change and result come from nowhere but the members of the organization. And it is my job to help them make it happen. This is the founding philosophy of Communication & Empathy” says Yoo.

Yoo, who gives yearly 200 lectures to companies and organizations, received a number of prizes including 2015 Korea HRD Award and the 2020 Enterprise Star Lecturer. This year, he won the 2020 Korea Education Industrial Awards in the category of business leadership.
