Hosted by the Herald Group, managed by monthly <PowerKorea> and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Trade, Industry, Energy, SMEs and Startups Committee, the National Assembly Win-Win Growth Committee, and the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, the Innovation Winner 2019 was held on December 13 2019 at the Seoul Press Center. 

Marking the 11th this year, the awards found and awarded prizes to innovative companies in South Korea. The judges screened around 100 candidate companies for 2 months from September to November and chose 30 companies, organizations and brands as the finalists who scored highest in 16 categories. 

The judges were the president of the Korean Consumer Safety Association, an advisor of the Korea Society of Quality Management, the Korean Standards Association, and Hongik University professor of business studies Hyungwook Kim who also gave a report on the screening proceedings and congratulatory speech.
