Not many know that April 4 is Safety Checkup Day. But for those who work in the field, it is the day better noted as it refreshes their safety awareness. And the tougher Occupation Safety and Health Act, which comes in effect from the dawn of 2020, is expected to raise the overall awareness on safety in all workplaces in South Korea. 

According to the International Labour Organization, average 151 workers have an accident in every 15 minutes, average 13 million safety accidents are reported yearly, and around 321,000 are injured or dead as a result.
