The wind of eco-friendliness is sweeping the Korean society. Many city dwellers are dreaming of having a home made of wood in the countryside and some bold people are actually delivering the dream on getting tired of boring villas and apartment blocks. Answering the market demand, builders are competitively offering down-to-earth budgets to attract clients. Recent trend tells us that these countryside dreamers prefer a small size country home and a Korean eco-friendly timber house specialist Eco Cabin differentiates their competitiveness by bringing a Northern European feel to them. 

Trees in North Europe are solid and dense. For this reason, Scandinavian timber houses have excellent insulation keeping houses cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Estonia for example is covered by 90% forest and trees in the country are famous for strong durability and good money for value. The 300 product lines are displayed in the headquarter showroom in Cheongju City and they cover from 28mm timbers to more than 90mm. According to Eco Cabin, the demand is high for barbecue, sauna, guest house, farmer’s hut, pension and quite recently glamping. 

Alongside timbers, all materials used for Eco Cabin are also eco-friendly whether it is a glue or insulator. Eco Cabin also minimizes the use of metal in order to maximize natural feel possible. One of the biggest charms of Eco Cabin, however, is that it can be installed anywhere: city, countryside, slope, etc. The current law says that a building sized less than 19 square meters do not need a building permission and Eco Cabin completes this small size cabin within just 4 days.
