The Korea’s biggest beauty business platform the interCHARM KOREA 2019 was held at COEX on 18th to 20th September. Marking the 17th event this year, the hosts Seoul Messe and Reed K.Fairs expanded the scale by 30% on last year. All about beauty products from skin care, hair and makeup to nail, eyelash and accessories were displayed and presented during the fair.

50 countries joined interCHARM KOREA 2019
50 countries including Russia, China, US and in the European and Asian regions participated in the interCHARM KOREA 2019 this year. The global beauty related companies and buyers proactively joined one on one consulting and trade briefing sessions during the fair and the hosts offer a global market platform for substantial results through various programs such as technology, trend, information, license and opening export routes. Also, a number of successful cases of export were given to K-Beauty enterprises. 

35,000 people visited
400 Korean companies sought global business opportunities with around 3,000 overseas buyers. A total of 35,000 people were reported to have visited the fair which is a 20% increase on last year. Beauty seminars held at a conference room was joined by Centdegres (France) and Amazon (US) who provided helpful information and tips while Innocos Summit presented latest trend, global marketing and product development. 

The hosts also organized the 2019 Asia-Korea Nail Pro Competition and the 2019 International Waxing Championship alongside various sub events themed on makeup, AI skin analysis, personal color diagnosis which attracted a great attention from visitors. 

An official of the organizing bodies said “The trend tells us the importance of customized beauty products and services and small and medium enterprises showed a particular strength in this move. We also see increasing number of participants and visitors and we feel a sense of responsibility and duty to make the fair more attractive for both overseas companies and Korean companies to find business opportunities in each other’s market.”
