As an ardent art lover, Baeksu Kim aka Baekam, initiated the Korea Public Art Association, the Korea Artists Exchange Association, and the Korea Mugoonghwa Art Association. He is running Pyeongni Gallery in Hwapyeong-ri, Ganam-eup, Yeonju City. The gallery looks like a small farmhouse outsidebut has years of his valuable collections inside.

“There are many artists, potters and engravers in Yeoju City and Pyeongni Gallery is connecting them to the Seoul Museum to promote their works. In fact, Pyeongni Gallery is just beginning of my ambition to open numerous galleries for both artists and residents in as many regions as possible” says Kim.
